You´re missing the point. Orlando Pita is on of the very best hairstylists in the world. Noone says that EVERYBODY needsto have their hair done by the very best one. His clients don´t care if they pay $800 or $8000. Money don´t matter. They just want him.

Just like Haute Couture dresses that cost €100.000 aren´t ment for everybody.

As for the rest of us who do have a budget to live by Toni&Guy will do. But don´t think for one second that it´s the same thing, ´cus it aint!!

I do not think he does that good of a job.

I would pay more than 800 dollars if the haircut was really really unique and can last up to two years, and If I had my hair really really long and cut it short to donate it (the hair). I would pay that much but his salon doesn't look pretty and people at Toni and Guy cuts good hair for 50-120 dollars way cheaper.

and someone at Supercuts can flat iron /curl hair.

i am a hairstylist, and spending an hour and a half with a client is def not special treatment or pampering with 800 i spend that long with my clients and they are very happy and i only make an average of 30 an hour.
