I remember I was enrolled in a catholic school that was next to a catholic church, and when Pope John Paul II died, the lowest-sounding bell tolled the passing of him...it was sad. May I ask one question, though? Was this rang at 9:37? Because I believe churches from around the world tolled the passing of him at 9:37, I remember the church bells rang around the world the next day, which was sad. I watched the news all night on that day. :-(

I forget that Notre Dame is still a functioning Catholic church. It has become such an icon of France that...it is a source of constant wonderment that the Church has inspired so much beautiful architecture, music, and art.

It is ONLY through Jesus Christ that anyone can go to heaven. This is simply because Jesus is the One Who paid the price for our sins upon the cross. Jesus has the nail-scared hands and feet, not El Papa over in Rome. The Pope is a dope and he has no hope apart from Jesus Christ.
