I am a victim of 2 separate rapes in the span of 7 years. I chose not to speak up because I was incredibly embarrassed. The people responsible were current & former boyfriends. Neither one showed any "red flags". Although my ex boyfriend did not rape me, he did assault me. I finally chose to take action. I called the police, & got a restraining order. Now, I hope to someday become a police officer so that I may help women going through the same thing. Never be afraid to do the right thing. <3
