Then 3 ok songs after that (Animal/Armageddon It/Hysteria), Viv wasn't even there yet. The rest is Lange vocal junk & what I'd call fake rock. They're anti rock even, everything it shouldn't be; limos, pretentious. Only Kiss can pull that off.

There was Ozzy/sabbath the original heavy metal band and then there was Dio/sabbath that with only studio albums back in the 80's was able to gain a huge following. Jane Lane (Rip) and warant where also a cherry pie bubblegum band. Ozzy, Metallica Maiden and Ac/Dc are massive and talented thats why they where able to headline the festival, Def Leppard did cuz of their pop commercial bubblegum music, that has sold lots of reccords like justin but and the end of the day they SUCK

And Def Leppard was one of the biggest bands to come out of the 80's next to Van Halen and Bon Jovi so for him to say shit about Def Leppard is a joke. Viv's fine in Dio while it lasted, but he really didn't rise artistically after that with the other bands he joined. Def Leppard (terrible name) made 1 good album, possibly 2; On Through the Night & Pyromania respectively. And they weren't even that great. Then 3 ok songs after that (Animal/Armageddon It/Hysteria), Viv wasn't even there yet. The rest is Lange vocal junk & what I'd call fake rock. They're anti rock even, everything it shouldn't be; limos, pretentious. Only Kiss can pull that off.

Rob halford, alice cooper and many other musician in metal music have made that statement public. Raimbow and Diosabbath was a huge influence aswell, perhaps not like zeeplin or purple, but then who the fuk can be compared to those two bands? none.

There was Ozzy/sabbath the original heavy metal band and then there was Dio/sabbath that with only studio albums back in the 80's was able to gain a huge following. Even till the end when he joined Heaven and Hell there was great demands, and The album The devil you know reached #8 in the muisc billboards. ofcource everybody wants to see the ozzy sabbath line up cuz its always so commercialized like your bubblegum band
