The cathedral had some work done to it in 2003, changes to the altar and work on the roof, for the reopening of it I sang in the choir and took part in a sacral dance on the altar!

I boarded in SPCA next door (1983-86) and we use to get the shit scared out of with stories or The Red Cardinal Ghost. Really beautiful building, pity it is still used as a hot air factory!

I went to school at st pats next door to the Cathedral - and remember the angelus ringing at midday. The english classrooms were right beside the cathedral - and the bells were real loud!! I think the new look interior is excellent with the archbishops seat taking its proper place.

I used to live in Druids Villas in Armagh City and I honestly miss the Cathedral.

It has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated.

I live in Banbrook in Armagh City and the Cathedral is at our back door, its a stunningly beautiful building very inspiring when you are inside it. Its awe inspiring and the bells ring at 9.55am mon to sat and they are loud. But a deeply spiritual place in a very spiritual city.
