I read in an interview that the songs were cut because they couldn't pass the "campfire test". Meaning they couldn't stand their ground being played acoustic.

Not bad... English is not my mother tongue so I can't talk about the lyrics. The music is different, but there's definetly(hur... ?) a Metric feeling to it(duh... how surprising!) The beginning makes me think of Sonic Youth.
