Translating a dog's language to a human's is impossible. Their brains are set up differently and cant form a language as complex as our's. It is entirely possible to "translate" certain barks to convey certain things, but "try calling my name" is not something a dog is capable of understanding, much less saying. I love the concept of this device, but its clearly a scam. You are better off learning a dog's various barks and whines on your own.

As you say, this IS possible, but the message "try saying my name" sound more like a suggestion than what the dog is saying. In other words, itʻs written as if itʻs from the dog to make it feel more like a conversation, but in actual fact, the emotion being conveyed is a cry for attention. The device then states to give it this attention.
