Any silenced weapon is completely quiet if a headshot is pulled off... I for one cannot hit a head, so I go around with an uzi, the bolt action sniper, and more often than not a machine gun.

1. Your dart rifle is your best friend.

2. Plan your attack at night.

3. Don't drive to the location. Walk. If you can, swim.

4. NEVER walk on roads unless you must.

5. Molotovs can cause distractions (It works, but look around before throwing one)

6. For the true pyromaniacs, bring IEDs and set them up in various places the enemy is. If your cover is blown, return the favor.

7. Last but not least, THINK LIKE A REAL GREEN BERET, NOT RAMBO. Most of Rambo's tactics will get you killed.

my tactic i circle around and i plant ieds on vehiceles nearby and if enemys get in my way i take them out with pistols or knife now when i have completed it i set them of and with all the comotion i head in with a heavy machine gun and flamethrower none stop until it is complete but there will be people on the floor still alive i leave them to rot

I love stealth in this game. I'm trying to see how many diamonds I can collect without being detected. So far, every diamond in the northwest and northern sector of Leboa-Sako, no shots fired (other than to kill enemies near a safehouse), never been detected.

Being stealthy has NEVER worked for me. Mainly because as soon as I kill some one with a MACHETE, inside a shack about fifty yards away from any of the OTHER guards, they're all instantly alerted and run to the shack to kill me. Likewise with long rage stealth kills, they all just start shooting at me as soon as any shots are fired from my end.

One thing if you want to run any scoped weapon- Use the surroundings like you did, but I noticed you silhouetted yourself against several boulders and buildings, which could also be hazardous. Find good cover, but make sure you use it in AND out.

you're right, i very rarely drive, it's a waste of time, they spot you easily, sometimes i leave my vehicles in strategic places, so if i'm running from enemies, i can get away. I always use stealth, i killed mbantuwe without alerting anyone, i shot with my my dart rifle from one of the small islands, i killed three or four, and they eventually just started firing mortars at everything, all of the islands were bombarded, and i snuck up and all addi could get off was "You."

The stealth aspect of this game isn't very noticeable at first. when i started playing, I thought that when you killed someone and they saw you. They just ran to you and shot you. But then i realized the detection system is very indepth and tactical

I love this game for giveing you so many ways to plan your attack over and over again. My weapon lay out is the mp5,dartrifle and the c4 pack thingy. What I do is always check for snipers before entering. Secondly I try to find my way in from the back(Less guards most of the time) Third I place a random c4 on a weapon box if anything gets dirty it creates a lovely distraction makeing most guards liveing their posts makeing the high vauled target nice and open :D

When I go stealth, I'll use a mp5, ied and the dart rifle. First, scout the camp, then you navigate your way to the target, and another way to a ammo pile or something. Go to the last place at first(sounds weird). Place the ied, then head back to your scout location and go to your target. If you have found yourself in a peeped-up situation, blow the ied and you have yourself a perfect way to your target:)

i got a little trick of my own when you come up to a guard post don't try to hit them up instead look for a small gap on you map then once its located take that route but make sure you're in the crouching postion while your moving around

Take the back entrances , no muss , no fuss . I'm on my second night time sneaky sneaky Far Cry 2 run and I've done multiple assassination missions where the only dude I killed was the target ( with the silenced makarov or machete ) .. It does depend on where the target is .

I find it annoying how when you have Music turned on, and when you're trying to be stealthy, and every time you fire a shot, Battle Music plays, then dies down, I think it ruins the moment so I just recommend having it off. Also, I don't know if you know, but starting wildfires draws enemies near it, Molotovs are pretty stealthy if you ask me, just one or two in an open area, and they'll go near it, for some reason. Sometimes they'll even walk into it and kill themselves, which is hilarious.

@jaydenftw Well it's not for stealth thats for sure, firing a flare in the air will attract MORE guards who think your one of them and send out a search party. On the other hand it's pretty useful for setting grass and brush on fire at a distance. =D

This was a great game i loved it. Only thing that annoyed me was that you had to shoot some people a whole bunch to kill them and that the bad guys used some turbo boost to catch up to you when you were being chased by car lol.

lolz there was a short cut there for that mission all u had to do was go through the river and keep swiming until u reach a swamp area then u climb up the grass and there ur target in plain sight (hes behind a fence in that way)

ive got a few stealth tips as well the camo suit is designed to make you harder to see in the grass the guards wont see you unless you are still in the grass use this to get out of searches and wait till its safe around you before you move out second its always a good idea to let everything settle down and let the guards relax so they can go on their regular patrol then pick them off one by one dont be in any rush and the AI is acutally quite smart at finding you

you can try to be stealthy but the A.I is ridiculous....I would shoot a sniper with a silencer attached but the enemy would still know pin point where my location is whether I be in total camouflage in the bushes or far up top a mountain with the distance of me ever seeing them is using my scope.......This game lacks in reality and intelligence in this area but other mechanics of the game are pretty

the silenced pistol is crap... get something more substantial...like an mp5 as primary weapon, a star 45 as your sidearm (it shoots faster and has a better kick as- but really should be your last choice if enemies are close-up and you've already been spotted) and get the dart rifle as well...then you're kinda stealth...

Try shooting someone in the legg, but dont finish him off. It's a great way to lure some guards away from a door. And after firing a shot from long distance, make sure u move another 50-100 meters to another bush. Your enemies will eventually trace where the shot came from and find you. Keep moving after a shot with the dart rifle.

yeah, i realized that after a while. but the enemies are pretty dumb, they walk right to where you are at and just stand around, because they know where the shot came from but not where you are exactly, so they just walk towards you and kind of look around. easy kills.

You could've just swam in the river and cut across to find the guy in the building. Thats what I did. Encountered nobody. And it took like 2 minutes for that mission. Being stealthy means to kill people only when you need to.

Next time don't take the fricking front entrance if you wanna be 'stealthy', cause obviously you're gonna into a hellofalot more enemies.

this isn't splinter cell. being stealthy doesn't necessarily mean not killing anyone, it means you don't set off any alarms or bring attention to yourself. i got in and got out without causing a huge alert, even if some of the guys did notice they were being picked off. when i left there were still guys alive, and they weren't shooting at me, so i did my job correctly by not being spotted directly. :)

@SpecOpsGrunt For me I just shoot the enemies on the higher ground or furthest away from me with a dart rifle than move in very quietly and kill anybody in my path with the silenced MP5 and then kill anyone really close to me with a headshot with the silenced makarov, and since this was a mission were you save someone and they become your friend I entered the building freed him, swam in the river then sniped the survivors from far away

i like to use explosives as a distraction..plant them on the opposite end, and go get your objective..i really love this game for stealth

the dart rifle could destroy explosive barrels but they take so much of the precious ammo. the pistol can do it but the ammo is plenty but takes accuracy. I like to play stealthy but its the journey times which are off putting cause if the stealth goes wrong its so disapointing to do it over again.thanks.
