Seaman is an interesting game... it's also a terrible game. But that said it was the source of a hell of a lot of humour, who didn't enjoy killing their seaman and shouting insults down the mic at him?

I'd love to see Skies of Arcadia, Grandia II and Shenmue II come to XBLA and PSN, and House of the Dead 2 if they could get that ported to work with the 360 and PS3 lightguns.

At last. :D. Was it me or for the last few years Sega seemed to think the Megadrive/Genesis was the only console which had the decent and buyable games? All these megadrive collections released every year (not saying they were bad, the megadrive collections). Completely different from the Dreamcast version.

You can tell from the videos.

There's a topic on Sega-16 talking about the differences.

Luckily, these are pretty much the only two Dreamcast games where it will matter.

@PimpUigi As i understand it, Sonic adventure is the Dreamcast port as said on Sega.com but it will come with a option to download the DX content. In any case the version playing behind this guy on E3 2010 is not the Gamecube port as you can see in this movie "But i recommend you take my word for it the guy playing the game fails so hard it's embarrassing lol

You can tell by the glossy latex skin on Sonic, something which is thankfully absent in the Dreamcast version.

There is a comparison thread at Sega-16.com's forums.

It includes the horrible changes in Crazy Taxi's physics and voice acting as well.

These are GC/PC ports, not DC ports as stated.

Keep your DC for now...

But it still has the DX latex/glossiness/crap skins...what remains to be seen is the glitches (specifically in speed highway)

And no, DX isn't that bad. Just the extra glitches like detaching from walls (like in Speed Highway) and the glossy latex skin that makes the characters ugly.

Crazy Taxi is much worse off unfortunately.

Crap voices, slower/clunkier game play.

There's comparisons on Sega-16 in the insert coin forums.

@85mariafer That's pretty stupid since the Dreamcast version had better skins for all the characters. They should have just made new, hi res skins if they wanted to improve the graphics. Not copy the DX verisons crappy, lacking detail skins.
