@osubuckeyes14 It was an exaggeration. They didn't notice Krebbs when they saw Cope sitting on the hill, or on his on-board camera, then what seems like 5 minutes later, they finally noticed him in the second replay.

Correct. When Riverside closed down, NASCAR was looking for a California replacement for it, and Sears Point, at the time, was really the only other venue that was capable of hosting a NASCAR Winston Cup Race at the time.
