@osubuckeyes14 It was an exaggeration. They didn't notice Krebbs when they saw Cope sitting on the hill, or on his on-board camera, then what seems like 5 minutes later, they finally noticed him in the second replay.
@setoguchifan16 when your at one end of sears point, you cant see the other end... and the camera work didn't show another car at all until the replay... geezus dude its basic logic...
@rhbcweatherdude actually, after reviewing this agin, his car could be mistaken for anything, debris, a fans vehicle or maybe debris from a fan. What ever it actually doesnt look like a car from his onboard
Correct. When Riverside closed down, NASCAR was looking for a California replacement for it, and Sears Point, at the time, was really the only other venue that was capable of hosting a NASCAR Winston Cup Race at the time.
yeah, Bruto's been great for the sport but he purchases tracks for their dates not their events. Now it seems to be about engineering and overall performance than who has experience on the courses.
I saw this crash before, but I always thought it was at Watkins Glen, though, but I was wrong, still probably one of the biggest crashes I have ever seen on a road course. Thanks so much for this video, batallionfan888, you are a NASCAR video God on YouTube.
haha ah back when there was grass there good times

5 minutes after it happened, they FINALLY noticed John go flying in a replay! How blind were these people?
setoguchifan16 1 year ago
@setoguchifan16 - It takes about 10 seconds if you notice between Cope's in car with Krebbs in view and the replay to see Krebbs' wild ride
YamatoCharm 1 year ago
@setoguchifan16 the vid is only 4 minutes long, so your logic doesnt make sense.

@DavidOrtiz36 Actually you can see Krebbs' car in Cope's on board at 0:30 Moral of the story, these commentators were blind.
