I don't think one would need look further than U.S. Grant for an example of that. We have sports stars, war heros & movie stars turned politician in both parties but yet look at the State of the Union. What have any of them gotten us? I don't think one would need look further than U.S. Grant for an example of that. Charlie Wrangle served with distinction in Korea, John McCain served with distinction in Vietnam, neither have served with distinction in the halls of congress though.

@MrStrictlyStock It is safe to say we have far to many in both parties who rely on past accolades to gain and hold political office and far to little on what they will do or have done since they have held said office. We have sports stars, war heros & movie stars turned politician in both parties but yet look at the State of the Union. What have any of them gotten us? Past accolades hold little relevance to what needs to be done today and tomorrow in either party.

He's got the English skills of a 5th grader, but his cognitive abilities haven't approached that level yet. I think the term is "developmentally challenged". I suspect he's been riding the "short bus" for almost a decade now.

@MrStrictlyStock lol, I can't speak for sonny boy but as a former "at risk student" known for disruptions in class and hell raising I wasn't allowed in the regular classes myself usually. I never did ride a short bus but I did manage to terrorize some teachers and principals, why the hell not? There was less focus on education and more of a premium on social and political indoctrination. No wonder this country has fallen so far from where it once was?
