The Proms are a series of music events hosted by the BBC showcasing various orchestras, singers and musicians performing classical music. In this instance it is a special Doctor Who edition featuring the score composed by Murray Gold.
So was this a one day only show or was it a more then one day but only one day was filmed? because I didnt see any camera floating around on cranes or anything like that.
the close up of the vampire is freaking AWESOME. Congratulations on getting such good footage in what had to have been a difficult spot. I just watched it on TV here in the USA from BBC America (Christmas Day 2010); I loved how the girls eventually encircled some dorky looking guy from the audience and just did nothing but walk around him menacingly the whole time. And actually I don't even remember seeing the Jidoon on the TV America version; the others were shown but I don't think Jidoon.
Seriously when the drums came in I just went "O_____________O"

This audience is awfully rude, talking during an epic performance of perhaps the greatest tune around.
