Why is this her last tap solo? I stopped my tap solos when I was 10.  I was sad.:( Haha!

Hi, Ava likes tap but doesn't love it. She wants to do a straight jazz solo, musical theatre jazz and ballet. I don't want to push her to do a dance style just because she can do it well. I want her to LOVE what she does :)

I TOTALLY agree! I stopped tap solos because it really wasn't going anywhere for me. I wasn't really improving and it was getting to hard to compete because everyone in my age group was at a higher level then me.:( My teacher and mom decided to stop tap solos, but I loved it. Thanks for responding quick!:)

How long ago were you doing tap solos? Where we are at everyone does jazz. All of the younger girls do tap and then about 9 hardly any. Ava almost changed her mind as this girl she really admires does so many turns in her tap dance. So Ava says, Mom I can do MORE turns in tap, maybe I should do tap. I told her if she wants to do tap for turns it is for the wrong reason LOL . We are doing jazz and musical theatre solo next year, maybe a third, but Ava prefers ballet... :)

Shes such a talented dancer!!! She has amazing stage presenced and you can definitly tell she LOVES the stage!! Did you rhinstone her taps?
