MY dear friend, you need to read the Bible yourself instead of reading too much deedat or naik. The Bible has countless places affirming the divinity of Jesus Christ. He accepted worship. He accepted the charge of claiming to be equivalent to God thereby everyone punishing Him. He says that he was from the Beginning even before Abraham. The Bible is not corrupted and Quran tells you to read Torah, Psalms and Injeel so go read it and obey it as Quran instructs.
I am so happy that God has saved me from my sins. What I could never do on my own - save myself from the curse of sin and its punishment, God took upon Himself the penalty because He loved me so much... so much that He took the form of a man to die for my sins. But He proved His victory over sin and death by resurrecting on the third day and proving that He is the author and finisher of life.

Ever heard of 911? Islams is not the largest spreading relgion in the civilized world (good you brought up "civilized"), it is the largest spreading ENFORCED religion in the world. Give a chance for people to choose on their own and you will see millions leaving islam in Iran, Pakistan, Saudi, Afganistan, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. In these countries, either you will be killed or jailed for "rehabiliation" if you leave islam. What "compells" you ask. What a joke.
In western countries also, families will persecute members if they contemplate leaving Islam. Besides, you are ordered to KILL anyone who leaves Islam. It is your duty. Yes, I agree with you that we should judge from it's religion and doctrine. Not by its people. Unfortunately, the case with muslims is different because they claim justification for their acts based on Quran and Hadiths. So I know it sucks, but actions speak louder than words. All the countries which implement shariah do not give minorities equal rights. So Islam is scary if you ask me

I don't understand why anyone would believe in the Islam. Islam depends on the belief of Quran+Hadith+Sira. The Quran on its own is inadequate. The Quran does not provide any context for what it says or even the essential practices of islam. These come from the Hadiths and Sira which number in the hundreds. Even islamic scholars don't agree on all the hadiths
Follow Christianity if you want to only. Scattered? Everything is in perfect context and harmony. And in the Bible, scripture explains scripture. No need to go to outside sources for understanding unlike Quran where you have to refer Hadiths and Sira which are disputed even amoung scholars. Most of your practices are from Hadith and not Quran. Is Hadith of divine orgin?

Christians always point to that everything (which they believe) comes in 3's and somehow that makes God split into 3. I can take that argument and say everything comes in 2's. I have 2 hands, 2 feet, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 lungs, 2 eyes, 2 nostrils, 2 kidneys, there are 2 sexes, there is hell and heaven (2), Good and Evil (again 2), computers speak binary...On and off (2), etc, etc. I can do the same thing for 1's also. This is a joke.

why would jesus want to confuse you. to make it simple don't you think the first thing he would say if he was god, would be i am god praise me. but he does say, 'I am not able of myself to do anything; according as I hear I judge, and my judgment is righteous, because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who sent me. not my will meaning he submits his will to god .... he is muslim thats what the word muslim means , to submit your will to god.

st. paul was not even appointed by jesus. he is a self appointed follower sayin he saw a light and it spoke to him , who knows what he saw. no one can say. peter or james never gave testimony to paul who by the way wrote most of the new testament. it also says in the bible that not even the son of man knows the day of judgement so if jesus is god he should know the day but he does not. his personality does not fit the one of god. man has a begining and an end , god does not you, can't be both.

Jesus cannot say He's God, that's why He uses parables, He can say it if He is in Heaven. Jesus spoke to Paul from heaven (Acts 9), only God can speak from heaven. I cannot kill anyone and atone for my sins. The Bible says that without shedding of blood, there will be no atonement of sins (Heb 9:21-23)

MY dear friend, you need to read the Bible yourself instead of reading too much deedat or naik. The Bible has countless places affirming the divinity of Jesus Christ. He accepted worship. He accepted the charge of claiming to be equivalent to God thereby everyone punishing Him. He says that he was from the Beginning even before Abraham. The Bible is not corrupted and Quran tells you to read Torah, Psalms and Injeel so go read it and obey it as Quran instructs.

I am so happy that God has saved me from my sins. What I could never do on my own - save myself from the curse of sin and its punishment, God took upon Himself the penalty because He loved me so much... so much that He took the form of a man to die for my sins. But He proved His victory over sin and death by resurrecting on the third day and proving that He is the author and finisher of life.
Praise be to Jesus Christ - Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

Give a chance for people to choose on their own and you will see millions leaving islam in Iran, Pakistan, Saudi, Afganistan, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. In these countries, either you will be killed or jailed for "rehabiliation" if you leave islam. In western countries also, families will persecute members if they contemplate leaving Islam. Besides, you are ordered to KILL anyone who leaves Islam. It is your duty. Islam is simply forced once you accept it. Most people who convert do not know the dependance of Quran on the hadith and sira until it is too late. And many in US do leave Islam.

The world knows the truth about islam - without submission, I am betting that there would be just half the muslims we see. Let's face it, if Islam needs to spread, it needs to make people submit to it. That is why you see all these terrorist bombings from Bali to Europe to US where Islamic superiority is forced unless they convert.
Let's remember that Muslims see only two places in the world: Dar al Islam (where islam rules) and Dar al Harb (where islam does not rule and muslims should convert this to Dar al Islam through any means).

Yes, I agree with you that we should judge from it's religion and doctrine. Not by its people. Unfortunately, the case with muslims is different because they claim justification for their acts based on Quran and Hadiths. So I know it sucks, but actions speak louder than words. All the countries which implement shariah do not give minorities equal rights. So Islam is scary if you ask me

Muslims are supposed to kill anyone who converts from Islam to another religion. "There is no compulsion in religion" is just a play of words. I know many people who have suffered in Pakistan, Malayasia and threats in other muslim countries. Saudi claims 100% muslim population. No prizes for guessing why.

and we are to tell you the glad tidings about a paradise that the believers will feel no warm neither cold, no fatigue neither thurst, and the eternal reward, so, who is going to ask you is your lord who has created you not just a play, but to worship him, for us muslims is just that we tell you the message, whoever denies or disbelieves it is for himself and whoever believes also for himself.

I have an ex-muslim friend who is 29 years old in India also who is from Lucknow and he is now a christian evagelist. He also described the persecution he had and escaped down to bangalore and started over. So "there is no compulsion" in Islam is just a catchy phrase far from the truth.

you have or you have not that is your business, when i said no compulsion in religion i was right and i will stay right, it is in quran surah2 or chap 2 in the middle of it, and you are still talking and saying what people are puting to your mouth, well then me i am not asking you anything, Islam is all about preparing people for the life after this one, and we muslims are suposed to fear for you a torment of hell fire that its fuel is disbelivers and stones

yeah, I know it is in the Quran. But it contradicts when islam which is practiced in its purest form instructs those who convert from Islam to be killed. You can say what you like about people putting words in my mouth everyone knows about countries like Saudi, Iran, Malayasia, Palestine or wherever else Islam is the rule of law that suppression of non-muslims is accepted. I have seen it and lived through it. So you telling me such things is vain to say the least.

Well, I don't though I will respect your decision for that. I believe God is holy, just and love. If He is holy, he cannot tolerate my sin. If He is just, the price of my sin MUST be paid. If He love, he has to show me His love without not being holy AND unjust. He did this when He took the form of man and paid the punishment of sin on Himself. This showed his holiness, justice and love without crossing each other out.

I exposed? It's been in the Bible for ages.
A girl was once condemned since she broke the law. The HONEST JUDGE fined her an amount AS PER THE LAW which she could never pay.
But then an amazing thing happened. Once the verdict was passed, the judge stepped down from his seat, removed his coat and payed the fine.
He was the girl's father and could not watch helplessly as his daugther was required to pay the price which she could never afford yet he was just too.

This was just an allegory which I hope you will understand. The message of the Bible is Jesus Christ - God's holiness, justice and love coming upon him because God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten son to pay the punishment of our sins so that we can come to His presence blameless and without fear of judgement.

That is only the devil which is calling for such a blasphemies, you should read your bible and use your logic and seak the truth, one of the best characteristics of the devil is laziness, tells you don't worship your god by praying five times a day, neither hold yourselves from having illigal sex nor tell the truth and paradise is guaranteed by believing in christ hunged for your sins and so on.

Dear wisdomuser, hopefully we will see each other in the hereafter. I will pray for you. I am going to God's presence where He has promised me.
However, becareful because in Islam, no matter how good you are, you have no guarentee you will go to paradise unless you are a martyr. Even Muhammed awaits the day of judgement (hence you pray "may Peace Be Upon Him"). According to the Islam, it is only Jesus Christ who is sure to be in heaven.
So God bless, hope to see you in heaven also.

Of course you love your religion but it was made by a man who was not from God.Just that he taught Jesus did not die on the cross and that Jesus was not the son of God when the son of God only meant God incarnate into humanform.For there is one God in Christianity and no prophet was to come after Jesus only Jesus is to return.

God said in Genesis 17:18-21 that Muhammad could Never be a prophet.That means God honours his promise even when man does not.
That also means Muhammad was never given any guidance from God.
Islam is not from God as Muhammad was not from God.
Even so,Muslims will be blessed not bec of Muh but because of God's promise to Abraham.

Adeel I know what Muhammad taught because I have studied the Koran.
He taught Jesus didn't die on the cross and he taught Jesus was only a prophet but he claimed Jesus would send an apostle,the ahmad after him but Jesus said he would make his disciples who were facing persecution aware of his presence.
The Ahmad or spirit of truth is how God alone is with all people on earth proving Muhammad did not receive his guidance from God.

according to Hadeeth(the sayings of Prophet Mohamamd SAW)..he told us that there will b a time when the muslims also like others will forget their actual purpose and they will start struggling only for this world---materialism and the will forget their actual purpose... and this persecution will b very strong and a vast majority of muslims will also forget or neglect ISLAM---this persecution is known as DAJJAL (at the peak someone will come and claim as to b GOD-he will b the actual Dajjal)

I don't understand why anyone would believe in the Islam. Islam depends on the belief of Quran+Hadith+Sira. The Quran on its own is inadequate. The Quran does not provide any context for what it says or even the essential practices of islam. These come from the Hadiths and Sira which number in the hundreds. Even islamic scholars don't agree on all the hadiths

Follow Christianity if you want to only. Scattered? Everything is in perfect context and harmony. And in the Bible, scripture explains scripture. No need to go to outside sources for understanding unlike Quran where you have to refer Hadiths and Sira which are disputed even amoung scholars. Most of your practices are from Hadith and not Quran. Is Hadith of divine orgin?

Jesus PBUH said that the one who confesses that Jesus is the Christ is of God and hence is a true ptophet .. And the only person who taught the whole 1.4 billion muslims that Jesus is the Christ is Muhammad PBUH ... Hence no way u can tell that he is a false prophet ... And even from the Bible we can prove that Muhammad is a messenger from God .. and Masallah he is the mightiest prophet that God had send on the face of this Earth ...
