@hendrixexperiencedig The DD-7 can do 40 secs of loop, I don't really know the quality of it, but if you don't really need a looper this would be a good choice ;)
And I myself don't have any looper, but I think Greg has a RC3 or 2, but that's a Boos for sure. I've seen here and there that the "old" RC2 was better then RC3
Hi Greg! Great videos! I tried to see all your videos with strats. I have a question, I have the same guitar like you in this video, a classic serie strat 60's, I would like to upgrade my pickups, I'm looking for clean tones to play jazz, soul, funk and sometimes blues (eventually with overdrive) with 0.10 strings in my fender tube amp. In your opinion, which pickups sound better for clean tones: texas special or CS 69? Thanks!!
hi-can you tell me the diffrerence betwenn ordinary texas specials and custom shop ones as i have both to install in a guitar and do they sound different--thanks sean
lake placid blue right? I love fender blue colors.... like this one or daphne blue, or the sea foam green (Yeah, I know, that´s not blue what a cool color)
@Danthehorse me too,,,tried them both in teh shop loved the Classic didnt like the classic player! Have the classic now....and I am attached to it like a siamese twin!
why do mine buzz so bad? i replaced everything all new stew mac electronics and texas specials what diagram did you use for wiring them up if you did it yourself i used the diagram that came with the pups and it wasn't right at all only 2 positions on the selector switch were working with the provided diagram used the stew mac one but still doesnt seem right when its in the bridge position the bridge and the middle pickups are on
@HarryPotter3700 na mr harry potter i didn't fuck up there was to much electro magnetic interference in my jam room. moved to another room and problem was solved
Im getting new pickups for my fender. I am torn between the Texas Specials and the Seymour Duncan Antiquities. EVERYONE feel free to give your thoughts/ opinions. Greatly apprectiated!!!!
You got any other guitars than Fender? Have you played Suhr guitars before? In that case, what do you think about them? And musicman? I'm sure you've tried those. Is fender your favorite brand? Sorry for so many questions haha!
do all stratocasters have flat fingerboards? becuase i noticed that les pauls have mroe of a camber on their fingerboards and that makes string bends and stuff easier
@Rhoadsy3pro You have it backwards. The standard strat and teles both have a 9.5 inch fingerboard radius while Gibsons typically have the flatter 12 inch radius.
@gavquinn yup same here i've got one in candy apple red, just finished putting brand new Lace Sensor pickups in it... man do i love this guitar can't pt it down!!
Very nice sound. One a side note, your living room looks very artsy.
