The purpose of it is to help you remember to ask yourself what to do. By asking yourself what you should E.A.T. Your asking yourself whether you should expand, attack, or tech, based on what your opponent is doing. It is not a build order. Listen to Day9, he is wise in the ways of Starcraft2.

@rocksparadox There's a difference between an attack, and strategic aggression. If your going to attack, your going in to commit to the attack. You invest heavily into it typically. If your going to say, expand. You would be aggressive and "poke" at your opponent to pull their attention and put them into a defensive position while you expand. But you don't completely commit to it most of the time as you'll need some defenses incase they push out.

VERY rare i get DT's. Too big of a risk. Ofc the reward is equally good and can easily win the game. But a defensive Terran is almost certain to store energy for scans. Usually stick with teching for col, phoenix or voids. With that marine count, I would have gone Col.

@Havocdk He has one base; that's 4 scans. IF he saves it all out of paranoia. And if he does that it's a simple fix, warp in a couple of DTS, chip away at things, dont engage his army, every time he scans just scatter and bait him into wasting them. And if he throws up a bunch of turrets and expands with turrets everywhere you've and him overcommit to detection because he had no other choice, so you're ahead.

He only needs one scan to stop dt's at first, turrets are good detectors as well as long as you don't spam them. Like 1 at production buildings and 1 or 2 at mineral line and its countered. thats 300, maybe 450 minerals. 1 dt costs 125minerals and 125gas... 250 resources for 1 unit AND u need the DT shrine that only unlocks DT's
