If there was ever a scene that showcased how far Van was above Natalie, this was it. Van had her beat in all categories. All the positives are on Van's side. She is more beautiful, smarter, sexier, nicer, etc. than Natalie. I just don't see how TPTB would think that we would beleive that John prefered Nat to Van. I am convinced that they are showing the Jolie relationship as sick and twisted. Especially with how Natalie told John he wasn't good enough for Van. He seemd to listen to her too

And John sat their and listen to all that BS Natalie basically told John he wasn't good enough for Van. And he started to believe that garbage when it wasn't true. But Nat had to keep him on her level so she broke him down to her level. That made him perfect for her. And now years later she want him to change.
