the event used a shoe tag for timing which didn't start your clock until you crossed the actual start line. a good thing since it took like 20mins to actually get to the start line with all the 30,000 people!
no - it doesn't deduct my singing time unfortunately!
Update - for the record I ran 1:27:20 and finished 9913th out of 18,613 runners in the 14.1km event. That includes my "song time" on the bridge.

Well done mate, surprisingly good voice after running so far. So do you get to deduct the guitar time from your undoubtedly fantastic run time?
