The gameplay was flawed, didn't understand why batman could only use a gun, when in the first game he had a megaman style choice of his fists or a number of weapons, knockback after getting hit nonsense which in the games defence, was in some of the best games (castlevania, ninja gaiden) at the time. The graphics and the music are awesome but if the gameplays not right then that can't save it i'm afraid.

damn man that is one kick ass soundtrack for one of the better batman games back in the nes era you know this may sound dumb but batman return of the joker for nes almost sound like the castlevania soundtracks from the nes days but without the dark gothic snese to the music
