question about culver ma: do you get all the army stuff like shooting rifles and doind survival quests and gaining ranks... all that stuff? i want to go to a MA btu i dont know if culver gets to that level

God i am so excited to go here!!! I can't even believe i got excepted, not to mention with a scholarship! Ah I've always wanted to be an American pilot, hope this will give me a gateway to get my dream realized.

I graduated in 1968 and the lessons I learned at Culver have made me an independent thinker. I learned about honor and put it before anything. I have gained and lost jobs because of Honor and I would never trade my 5 years at Culver for anything. I wear my class ring as my wedding band. My wife has no problem with it because she likes who Culver helped me to become.

Culver is one amazing school, Top Notch, I was going to end up going there freshman year but ended up staying in my hometown high school glad I did but at times kinda wonder if I would have loved being at Culver. Deff a bad ass school tho.

Military camp for KIDS? Am I the only one that finds this idea a little sickening? I suppose in the East we do things a little differently. Time for the West to grow up. You've had enough time.

It is a major scout camp. You go to this thing and graduate you can go anywhere for college

In Taiwan, we prefer academic excellence to be the deciding factor re. university or college. That is why China ran off with all the gold medals at the olympics. We measure excellence based on intellectual merit, not naffy little boot camps.

Boot Camp..since you have never ever seen the place you show your ignorance. You have no idea what Culver is like and if you were of that correct age you probably would not even have the top grades to make it into this school.

For this school a C average would never make it. This school is all academic and there are quite a few students from China and all over the world which attend this school...too bad you are not smart enough to hit those grades and the dumbest of your country

oh and lets not forget the "boot camps" set up in China for all the 13 year old gold metal winners where they are taken from their families and made to work hour after hour without stop.

Yeah, keep watching FOX news and CNN, because they report the truth so very accurately. And just for the record: the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the People's Republic of China are two separate countries. We are Chinese, but we have a separate political dispensation (a democracy - which is more than can be said of your war-mongering nation). DO YOUR HOMEWORK! It's just a boot camp for spoiled rich kids. Rather send them to do charity work in Iraq to clean up your country's mess.

I watch neither FOX or CNN because I wish to get my new correctly...shame you have no idea how that works because you get it fed to you by your government...and yes I do understand that Taiwan and China are two different countries and you learned how to spell democracy from the English speaking people. The kids go to many countries to clean up the mess made by China...Darfur..and South Africa.

My thoughts for Culver Woodcraft are, you are simply the best. My Summer days as a Cubby 57-58 and as a Beaver 60-61. What a beautiful place for kids!
