Awesome! I can't wait until my King gets bigger, I have a 2 and half foot Desert King, he's little but he lets nothing live in his cage, even if it's too big to eat I found out, I just have to take it back away from him.

I feed Mambo (that's his name) 3 large adult mice every week, except for the weeks when he is getting ready to shed.

On the weeks that he sheds (after shedding) I feed him 2 rats, just to get some variety in his diet.

Rats are fatter

It takes a few years for them to get to 6 feet.

You can "Power Feed" them twice a week and they will grow bigger faster, but it is not recommended, it can cause liver damage.

He can really stretch his mouth and eat rats 3 or 4 times wider than his head.

He lives in am old fish tank I had on hand when I found him.

It is about 13 inch deep x 30 inch wide x 12 inch high.

If I did not take him out for a walk everyday so he can stretch, I would recommend a larger box.

His hide box, (important for snakes) is 10 inch wide 8 inch deep and 9 inch high, he is in the box most of the time.

I let him wander around the yard for about 20 minutes everyday so he gets exercise.

He (almost) never poops in his cage; he always waits for his walk.

He is a powerful critter!

That tank is where I feed him, and put him when he's ready to shed.

All the rocks in there give him something to hook against when he sheds.
