i think that was the original script, and there was talk of Christina Ricci playing Alice (then Sarah Michelle Geller *shudders*). and they were gonna make Alice a brunette (as i believe she's supposed to be) and carry around the knife and everything. but i guess they scrapped it once Tim Burton took over =/ oh well...

This looks good, but I don't get why people say it's creepy.  It puts off more of a cartoonish feel for me. Kinda like Charlie and Chocolate Factory. Gosh that was awful.

I think Tim Burton is an amazing director, and has the best ideas that anyone could. Johnny Depp is amazing, and i love him in all the Burton films. Burton and Depp are like best friends, so thats why he is in all of them.. i dont think it is a waste of talent atall!!
