  • My compliments.. Not only were you good at making the recipe but also in explaining it. I noticed how meticulous you were in chopping the nuts. I will remember to follow your method next time.

  • Dear Anna, I really love this biscotti recipe. My question is: do I use 1.5 or 3 tsp baking powder and can I omit the baking powder altogether?

  • Step 1: Toast 1 cup of almonds in oven-275'F. Let cool. Chop almonds.

    Step 2: In a very large bowl - mix together: 4 cups of flour (white & whole wheat),

    3 tsp baking powder. Add chopped almonds.Stir to combine

    Step 3: Beat together 4 eggs (room temp.), 1/2 cup of oil, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla ext. &1 tsp almond extract, chopped rind and juice of 1 sm. orange

    Step.4:Make well in flour and pour in liquid mixture. Gently fold together until all combined. For more see video
