Always remember all gay men are not sissies....I directed this play in San Antonio, Texas in 1982 at The Bonham Exchange. Sterling Houston, Marc Daratt, Wes Carol, Richard Henderson, Angelo McCabe, Michael O'Shea, Dan Baugher and I can't remember the guy who played The Cowboy. What a great production for Actors Theatre Of San Antonio's second production the first being STREAMERS.
@PilatoJerry As much as I, as a part of the gaycommunity knows that all gaymen aren't sissys as you put it, It always annoys me that its so important to point out. Why is it so bad to be a sissy, why is feminity so hated or dispised? Why not instead put it more like, yes some gaymen are sissys, so what?
Immortal lines of Harolds'!!!!! "I'm a thirty two pock marked Jew" "Who is she becoming" --I won't be selfish, there's more. Why aren't they in the best lines in movie history?? You know with "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn" or "Here's looking at you kid"
@windstorm1000 I will say one thing. Never get a Gay Man angry, they will read you chapter and verse and embarass you so badly you won't be able to show your face in public. I never experienced it, but I saw others and it's very humiliating
@laminage Yes, but that is a certain variety of gay man--the 'queen'--some are really quite shy--like the cowboy in BITBand. I'm gay and I couldn't do Harold--but my friend Taylor--watch out--he's got a tongue like a whip--but a heart of gold for his friends.
Who is she . . . . who was she . . . who does she want to be? Ah hahahahaha.
