@11Suzan8 You pronounce Naruto as NAR-RAH-TOE? That is incorrect too (and I don't even watch the show).

1) The first syllable doesn't have the the 'r' sound at the end.

2) The 'u' in 'ru' sounds like 'oo' in the word 'cool.' This is almost always the first lesson in any Japanese class/tutorial.

3) When ever you pronounce the Japanese 'r,' it's like a combined 'r' and 'l' sound that sometime comes off as sounding like a 'd.' This is a English vs Japanese thing, and many English dubs just ignore.
