yeah, channel two has some sweet marshall inspired sounds that can really sing and it's got tones of stuff to tweak to....it's even got 95 VAC variac mode, if you're shooting for a brown sound.

I'm learning this song but I'm stuck at the 1:47 - 1:55 part T_T i'ts sweep picking right? i'ts impossible for me, i play it doing tapping :). anyway. your video really helped me, someday i'll play like you (i hope so). sorry for the english, I only speak portuguese, and by the way, what guitar is that???

As far as your question: I've always loved Laney, but I can't guarantee the tone you'd get. I will say that I had to tweak my amp because with this guitar (as opposed to ones with a regular humbucker in the neck) the neck pickup can be real twangy sounding. Once that's dialed out though, the guitar is awesome, I do recommend it.
