  • 1st of all we're just looking at 5 mins of who knows how many hours this class had been drilling. Also the head instructors cadence keeps changing, which is causing a lot of the students to anticipate the next count. The floor is probably wet along with the amount of people in the class seem to have the karateka shortening their stances. Lots of critics, but after a couple of hours of drilling the basics, just how sharp are you supposed to look.

  • Well Zejex15, if you look at the other comments you should know! If not "You are in the wrong place at the wrong Time" and don't know anything about Shotokan Karate-Do!

  • There guys don't look like they've been training for two years to earn their belts. You don't do things wrong, not unless you want pain or two squat for 10 minutes!!

  • That's it! I'm changing my name to Grandmaster Willy, and charging big bucks for lousy karate!

  • waaaaaaaaaaaasss ist das!!!

    mein gott 8th dan !!!

    lächerlich!!!

dann hab ich den 250 th !!!!!

solche machen gerade bwegungsgymnastic und haben nen schwarzel gürtel!!!!

  • what does a blackbelt mean it means that you have mastered the basics only..... don't make such a big deal out of a black belt..... when you have mastered a degree or 3 you are to be taken heavy

  • Everybody's a critic. If any of you snide-assed guys posted vidoes of yourselves, you'd look not so hot too.

  • its like this, everytime a "master" comes to town, every "blackbelt" in the area comes out of retirement to train here.....so you see alot of high stances, not so good tech. Also, the Jap masters always drills yer dick into the ground so you dont have much left in ya to the point yer blowing out yer knees just to say you went hard every technique. The master generaly tries to teach "big points" and the stamina training is done with indivitual instruction.

  • Hips?

  • Air-punchers. And too many people in this room, its not possible to do kumite/fighting or to move. But fighting is surely not allowed in this school, i think...

95% of this "warriors" would not reach the second round in a thai-boxing conquest.

  • where is this school?

  • It's called a sigaler. Or a traffic jam. Go any faster and you hit the guy in front. Any slower and you get rear-ened.

  • no kime at all. too bad..

  • I wonder about these 'Black belts'.

Very sloppy, tired or not, they look undisciplined to me.

If fitness levels are high then performance will be enhanced.

  • omg they are really bad

  • I don't mean to brag but I punch and block faster than these black belts while I'm just and orange belt, honestly!

  • They look really very very lazy and not very well trained (both technically and phisically speaking).

But you must consider they are really tired and so mind and body reacts bad!!

  • So don't judge them too harshly.

  • Yeah, I guess they do look tired :)

  • Looks like the floor is so overcrowded that students are forced avoid running each other over. They look more concern about avoiding a collision than execution.

    Kind of like congested freeway.

  • I dont think these are real blackbelts, they look sluggish, rear feet are lifting from the floor all the time, at approx 3.51 one student is wearing a bracelet of some kind and the dark haired girl closest to the camera sometimes looks like her rear fist is the wrong side up. - terrible video and gives shotokan a bad name !

  • Where is this school? They should take all these Videos of Youtube, they make Traditional Shotokan look so bad, so who ever you are, take it off please!

  • @shogunsan21 Why do you care?

  • Very surprised to see this and Traditional Shotokan at that, all of these look as if they are Black Belts? Some moving very slow, a lot moving before the call (Zanshin) and most doing a scooping?

    Sad!

  • its tsuki not zuki- tsuki means punch just like tsuki no kata means punching kata

  • well tsuki means punch and it also means thrust whereas zuki also means punch

  • cool.

  • man son un desastre, jajajajaja menos actitud tienen los pibes.
