Ehdottomasti suosikki joululauluni. Joskus pienenä en muistanut hyvin laulujen sanoja, joten lauloin musiikinkokeessa tän, kun tää oli ainoa jonka muistin.(Koe oli keväällä!) Nytkin ollaan pitkin kesää kuunneltu.

DashSquiggledot: The title caption says that this particular arrangement is by Jussi Chydenius - he is indeed one of the members in the group Rajaton. I don't know if it is possible to find the score somewhere, but at least it's their own. :)

@DashSquiggledot Heinillä härkien kaukalon has been publicized in the album Joulu by Rajaton. You might have some success in Finnish net stores. Google for huuto net, I tried to give you a link, but it doesn't seem to be allowed. Or, if you aren't stickler when it comes to legality you could download Ares to your computer (free program) and see if you can find the song for free with it.

Entre le boeuf et l'âne gris. If you google it, I am sure you find an mp3 or midi file to compare the two songs. It is odd that the original is not credited.

In the beginning of the video it says "Melody: French trad." when the credits are shown (but it is in Finnish of course) The Finnish version of the words are by Matti Korpilahti.

I think it's not forbidden to transalte songs...

Is that really entre le boeuf et l'ane gris? If so, they took some major liberties with the melody (either that, or the version I'M used to took major liberties with the melody). In any case, this still sounds great.

I think it's traditional. It's been sung in Finland for ages, but all the creadits to our French friends, this is one of my favourite Christmas songs :)
