i love the acting but this is not the story of the scarlet pimpernel! The story had more intrigue and mystery; maguerite didn't find out her husband was the scarlet pimpernel till half way in the plot and she was never imprisoned. i hate wen tv messes with the book!
Funny thing is that Robespierre actually was decapitated. Right after he attempted suicide (he shattered his lower jaw trying to blow his head with a gun). Fitting end, isn't?
