I don't really like the Eric in this. He's not like the character from the movie. When he's talking he sounds more arrogant and abrasive rather than calm, profound and down to earth like the original Eric. Eh he just doesn't work for me...nothing like Eric. :(

@DramaGirl530 There is a musical version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.It was played several years in Berlin,the show finished in 2002. It's one of the best works of Alan Menken. I don't know whether there was ever the idea to bring it to the US. In my opinion it would be very great and successful on Broadway.

the transition from water to land was just ... artistic genius! And I personnally think the costumes are wonderful. An intelligent way of portraying merfolk without the actors looking/feeling awkward and ridiculous. Disney should put this back on Broadway and release it onto the West End. And I think Sierra Boggess who played Ariel should have won ten awards for her portral, she was simply phenomenal, a real, sincere actress and a fantastic singer :) Please bring it back :)

I've noticed on videos where Sierra is playing Ariel a lot of people have made comparisons to Amy Adams. I once read a comment where a person said Sierra plagerized Amy's performance of Giselle to make Ariel. (It's not on this video) This is not true! Enchanted had wrapped up filming in early 2007. This performance of Sierra took place in July 2007. Enchanted was released in November 2007. Sierra didn't have access to the movie. Any similar traits between their performances was a coincedence.

that because this is aliitle blurry it comes off as tan lines, but if you look at professional photos and such,

I saw this on Broadway a year ago and it was absolutely amazing!!! By watching Sierra as Ariel, I could tell she put her heart and soul into it! I teared up during Part of Your World! The Storm at Sea scene was so breathtaking in person! I was blown away by it! I was sad it went off Broadway but at least it's going on a US Tour in the Fall! By the way, the man playing Grimsby, was the voice of Jafar in Aladdin!!! :)

I watched the Little Mermaid on Broadway (October 2008) and this is my FAVORITE PART, when Ariel rescues Prince Eric and then she sings "Part of your World" (Reprise), Sierra's voice is TERRIFIC!. I hope you watch the show when it arrives to your city.
