i forced my 12 year old brother to watch this movie with me because i am obsessed with mermaids. and throughout the movie he is acting all tough and pretends to be bored, then the mermaid scene comes, and when the mermaid starts to sing My Jolly Sailor's Bold i look at him, and he is leaning forward staring like he is posessed and hypnotized with a slight smile, and a gleam in his eyes. after the movie, he says what was that song the mermaid sang? i think he liked it ;) mermaids are hypnotic lol

I've got to say, this is really good. I've never heard of anyone doing a fan-soundtrack before, and honestly, it sounds like it belongs in the movie more than some of the tracks on the actual soundtrack. My humble opinion, of course. If you trully worte this get with some movie production company now. I listen to hundreds and hundreds of movie soundtracks (I'm a university film student) and this is easily up there with the greats. this is far above your average score, and just under an oscar worthy score. If this music was put with original breathtakeing imagery to match the power of the music, say hello to critical aclaim please out yourself out there and even use this piece as a resume it's great!
