  • "Cadillac Records" was on BET tonite, so I had to drop by and listen.

  • The inspiration for Peter Greens I Loved another woman

  • WHO S BEEN TALKING

  • TOm Waits owes this man royalties, ha ha !

    Brilliant !

  • yes, yes, yes !!!!!

  • A little bass in this recording would sure help!

  • led zeppelin is over rated!

  • The harmonica has the same stutter riff as "Whole Lotta Love". I'm beginning to wonder if Led Zeppelin came up with anything on their own.

  • @MiamiSouthPaw it's a common blues lick, done by dozens before and after zeppelin

  • @rockdup99 Thank you! The Doors even experiences with it on Love Me Two Times. It's very common.

  • @MiamiSouthPaw surely you know HALF of that album is Muddy Waters tunes....word for word, lick for lick. including of course the song you speak of.

  • @MiamiSouthPaw i dont wonder that anymore.........

  • Перед Королём Блюза снимаю шляпу...

  • Clutch does a fantastic cover of this song. Look it up.

  • @telemov Respectfully, you can't compare anyone to Howlin' Wolf, who is in a league of his own

  • @zachpnyc

No comparison, but they paid it a great tribute.

  • anyone know what key the harmonica he is using in this song b?

  • @OneFlistedFury the harp is in the key of E

  • REALITY is: The Stones did NOT rip off Wolf or other roots blues influences. Since Howlin' Wolf almost single-handedly inspired the Brit Rock Invasion, the Stones refused to go on Shindig here unless Howlin' Wolf got to, which was a helpful thing, inroad against racism, and woke up the USA to it's own musical roots. Led Zeppelin, on the other hand, is known as The Thieving Magpies, blatantly infringing HUNDREDS of black roots artists of whom only Wolf & Willie Dixon prevailed.in lawsuits.

  • Say's it all . . . thanks, Rich

  • killer toon by the wolf,

  • Everybody is taking ideas from stuff that has already been done! I doubt Howlin Wolf was doing it for the fame or money. Likely for the love and enjoyment of the music! Will say that clutch has a cover of this song that is well done and they are not a big time band that makes a ton of money. They enjoy playing good music and paying hommage to true musicians. Also they do a Pappo cover of algo ha cambiado , check it out well done and all in spanish. Stop with the Whitey stole it garbage!

  • Pay attention Michgran...you can trace every song that whitey stole...Stones, zepp etcetera...can you imagine having this immense catolgue to steal and call your own, fill stadiums, enjoy great wealth and knowin your heart, the folk you stole it from, died in poverty...

  • @chancesareshewears it was a good thing the stones etc robbed these musicians otherwise it would of never got heard dont blame the stones for a fucked up society its got fuck all to do with them and howling wolf stole it from someone else who stole it from some one else and so on

  • Wolf did also many beautiful songs, but this is one of his absolutely best. You can almost feel the pain in his harmonica solo...

  • the KING of BLUES

  • Does anyone notice the similarity to Black Magic Woman? Fleetwood Mac first stole it from this tune and then Santana.

  • Polskich użytkowników YT, poszukujących więcej wiedzy o Wolfie, zapraszam: cogra.pl/index.php/szacun/o-wilku-i-bluesie-dla-bialasow/

  • the version from the album Muddy And The Wolf is an interesting redo.

  • Oh yeah

  • Mi chica cogio el tren y ahora estoy solo.
