Pro Tip:
The eq on the kick is pretty large. There is only low and high in this song, no middle. To get a song to sound really good one must occupy all of the sound spectrum. Whenever you dominate one part of the spectrum (such as bass) it can cut away from the volume of the other spectrums (the middle). One way to fix this is to cut the unused frequencies. For example if you roll off the bass on a hi-hat in the PEQ it won't change the sound.
