Pimples and blackheads aren't always caused by nit washing. He probably has enlarged oil glands that go crazy plug up his pores with sebum and bacteria and that's why he has so many. Over washing can be just as bad as over washing. He should try accutane or something to regulate his sebum production.

Gads - you can sooo tell where the strip was compared to the surrounding areas!!! He needs a Biore Blanket, not just a strip! Try using Elmer's Glue - some people have good results with that for larger areas - just make sure you spread a decent covering coat on, and let it dry dry dry before removal. You could also try a blackhead tool from most pharmacies or Wal-Mart. Thanks for sharing!!!
