  • Respond to this video... wow! I just watched and old video of yours and now this one, and you seem much more relaxed and articulate in this one. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I think something about you changed. I hope it was your CBT...that would give me hope. But who knows if that's really true.

  • Hi Mia :) I'd say.. just be yourself, whenever you feel you should post something that YOU like or have experienced that is worth sharing.. just do it. Because that's the real you. Could be photo's or video's you've taken, your opinions on anything, experiences, music etc.

  • @MikeyTipunama Thank you for your comment! :) I want what I post to be interesting to other people too or else for me it has no point! So I feel I need a kind of purpose. I don't feel I'm an interesting enough person or have an interesting enough life to just post random things. LOL!

  • Hej. Jättebra jobbat! Jag skulle vilja komma i kontakt med dig för lite frågor. Om du har tid och ork kan du maila mig på Fredlund snabela gmail punkt com.

    Mvh Johan

  • @JohanFredlund Har skickat meddelande till dig! :)

  • Hi Mia, I have SA. I have times when I'm happy around people and other times it's a real effort.

I read about "brain inflammation". Certain factors like diet make our brains swell causing these kinds of problems. Google "Mark Hyman".

This works for me but I still cannot help eating the wrong things sometimes! It's part of being human but I wanted to tell you that for me and I'm sure for lots of people, this can be a cause.

By the way I think your videos are great and helping a lot of people.

  • @herbal1971 Thank you. I know there is "brain food" that is good to eat when you are depressed, certain nourishments that help the hormone balance, so it doesn't surprise me. I don't think I have a brain inflammation though.

  • Hi Mia! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your work and things are going well. About your channel, i agree with others, you can post videos about whatever interest you and want to share. You have done a really good work with your S.A videos and actually it would help more if your channel is not only about social anxiety, people who watch your other videos, visit your channel can know more about S.A, maybe some of them have it but didn't know about it and find it by accident there. Take Care!!

  • @BarelyNoticeable That's an interesting perspective I never thought about. Thank you. :)

  • You should keep the social phobia video's because personally I find them interesting and thats how I found your channel when searching for Social phobia videos on YouTube, but also make video's for absolutely anything else you want. If you think of a subject matter - make a video about it. I also like the video's about Sweden. :)

  • @cshield90 Happy you found me! :) Do yo have SA yourself? Thank you for commenting and I hope to see you here again! :) There will be more videos like my "winter videos" and such because even if they don't get many views, I love making them. :)

  • @MTEvideo Yes, I recently started 'Cognitive Behavioural Therapy' to try and improve my anxiety. Over a year ago I was due to start a university course, but I had to give it up because my anxiety was so bad. Hopefully the CBT will get me to a point where in the future I can re-apply for university. :)

  • @cshield90 It's great to hear you started CBT! I wish all the best luck with it, and don't give up even when it is tough, think of your goal - re-applying to university to get the education you want! I have similar experiences like you, courses I couldn't finish because of my SA, and I never got to study on to advanced level because it meant disputations and all. But after my CBT, the first thing I could do, was to finally study at advanced level! :) So you will get there, don't give up.

  • We are learning every day of our life.. we feel we are behind or we say given the chance I would have done this thing differently.. and a lot of people have social anxiety.. do u know my husband says often that i am not a good socializer.. that i only have youtube friends.. lol.. i am working on it.. keep the videos coming.. we cant wait for more.

  • @ozus2 So true. We learn as long as we live is a saying here, and it's very true. If you lived closer I would love to spend time with you. I have a feeling we would have a great time. You are a good youtuber, that's for sure and you are a warm, kind and caring person.

  • you look gorgeous.. i love your cute necklace and your lip gloss and the quality of the image / video is fantastic.. what did you do differently.. ? keep them coming these videos.. talk about anything you want .. we are listening to the real you and to a real person not a fake person.. who is putting an act.. you are good at being who you are !! xoxox

  • @ozus2 You always say such nice things!! Thank you! Glad you like the lipgloss, it's my favourite one. It gives a little colour but not too much! If you like it it must mean it fits me. :) The video quality is better because with my new computer I can finally edit the AVCHD fdrmat, I couldn't before. It's very good! Plus I have invested in photo lamps for my photography, and of course they work well for filming too. The colours appear more accurate, but I need to adjust white balance.to lamps.

  • Your channel is whatever you want it to be. Social phobia...beauty...whatever you choose! I really enjoy your videos. You are braver than many here!

  • @semchick I need to have a purpose to be able to find the courage to post videos. :) I am not that brave and posting videos doesn't come naturally for me AT ALL! LOL! But if I find a purpose for it, I can do it. It's good exposure exercise. Thank you so much for your comment! And we are all brave, in our own ways!

  • You are so much much braver than me! i could never put myself on YT..

I would love to see your make up vids.. You have same skin and hair as me.. xx

  • @SarahSmith666 Courage isn't defined by posting videos on Youtube. You have courage in other ways where other people would be less brave than you! And this video thing is not something that comes natural to me, so I don't feel very brave about it. :) But getting comments makes up for it in all ways imagineable! So thank you. :) I am not good with make up at all, so I can't do tutorials and such! Haha. How cool we have same hair and skin! My hair is starting to grey though. :(

  • I'm glad I ran into you video and I'm glad you decided to post one up recently. I think that your yourtube channel is whatever you want it to be. I find myself engaged when people use there youtube to just talk or vent about anything (not necessarily Social Anxiety based) happening in there life.

  • @MrShyAndTimid Thank you so much for commenting! I need to have something to "say", something meaningful that I want to share, when I post videos, or else I chicken out. :)

  • I think you should give yourself more credit Mia. Your videos/ words are inspirational and encouraging.

  • @Countingsquares22 Thank you for those encouraging sweet words!! :)

  • I agree with Sh05hp. You probably already know this, but if you log into your YT-account and go to "insight", you can see the demographic data of your viewers.

Great that your work give you so much pleasure, I'm happy for you:) and good advice about the passion-thing, I think it is true - I would like to find something to be passionated about

  • @BluesyMagus We all have something we feel passionate about inside us. :) What kind of things bring you joy? What makes you happy? What makes you smile? :)

  • I think that you could definetly reach us. Personally I don't think there are a lot of videos on here that help you with your SA. Most people only have vlogs which are very comforting to see but not very helpful in overcoming our issues. So please share what's worked for you and share some of your valuable experience :). Thanks

  • @sh05hp Oh thank you... I can't offer a "cure", but I want everyone to know that you can overcome this. I know how hard it is to live with SA, for some more hard than for others, and it can be so limiting and a lot of us develop depressions too because of the limitation SA causes in our lives. And I don't want young people to lose hope, and to get depressed because of this. The sooner we get help, the better, and the easier it is to overcome it. Thanks again for encouragement.
