This is Ben Hogan. Most people can identify him from his swing but he made radical changes to every aspect of his swing. this is before he made his changes.
Take a look at the clip of Moe Norman when he was young. Its here on youtube. You would never guess its him but it is.
also they say he fought a hook early in his career and you can definately tell he is holding off making his finish not look the way we're used to it looking... anybody agree?
i think this is hogan!!! maybe when he was WAY young.... there's a lot of similar movements....
byron nelson said that hogan had to work for every shot.... well with his GOOD swing it didn't seem too hard right? but when you see this swing, you can see where byron was coming from you know?
i mean look at the set up take away and lower body movement... LOT of similarity just seems like he is still searching you kno???

Runyan is not a bad guess. Runyan was a rather small guy and a very short hitter.
