Since it would take only a few weeks to find it out, how come the mexican government didn't send immediately another supply ship for the inhabitants of Clipperton? Apparently, 4 women and 6 children survived. The woman who killed the 'King' that day was the captain's widow. The survivors were rescued a day later by the USS Yorktown on July 18th, 1917.

Your video is the next best thing to visiting Clipperton in person, and the music fits perfectly. It's a hauntingly beautiful place with a short but dark history of pirates, imperialists and Mexican guano miners. I'd love to go there just to clean it up.

It truly is a haunting place and you can feel the history when you walk the beaches. The amazing thing is that it now carries many histories, if you look at the garbage on the beaches as symbols with each having its own history. Then the beach is not so dirty, more alive with lots of discarded stories.
