I got a few unopened 1975 topps packs. I was 12 yrs. old at the time and said to myself "I'm gonna open these in 10 years and see what I got" and stuck them somewhere & forgot about them. A few years ago I found 'em and remembered 'em. In the meantime, BB Cards became worth a lot of money and so I left them in the pack. That '72 topps set, I bought the whole thing back in '72 for about 12 bucks & still have them, only they're not mint.
You probably already found this out but Bill Melton was with the White Sox at that point in his career.
Love the Topps All Star Rookie Trophy cards and to me a rough cut from that era is cool by me. Back then, cards were made for pennies to help sell gum to kids so being off centered or a rough cut should not be a huge knock on vintage cards.
