  • Bill Melton: Chicago Whitesox!

  • Hmmmm!! 40 year old gum! Yummy! :P "Not going to try it." Really? LOL You gotta love it. ;)

  • @Flowerpowernluv One time I had some gum from a pack of cards from 1990, i tried a bite and it tasted just like a card... lol

  • @bedtime420 LOL I bet! LOL LOL :P

  • Anybody saying boring or whatever, cut him some slack, he's a collector and he is passionate about what he does.

  • @RoboSlickProductions Yeah! Let's vote them all down! I love any kind of antique. Not everyone thinks it's boring.

  • blah blah blah blah blah open pack blah blah blah

  • @tigerbalm20000 Maybe to you. So why did you click on the video if you think it's so boring??

  • @Flowerpowernluv He didn't know it was going to be boring smartness.

  • @Flowerpowernluv You win some, you lose some. Everything can't be entertaining.

  • boring !

  • I love those 3d letters

  • Nice. I just went back and watched a bunch of these video's. Fun seeing these get opened.

  • did you ever bust the '71 or '70 packs?

  • I got a few unopened 1975 topps packs. I was 12 yrs. old at the time and said to myself "I'm gonna open these in 10 years and see what I got" and stuck them somewhere & forgot about them. A few years ago I found 'em and remembered 'em. In the meantime, BB Cards became worth a lot of money and so I left them in the pack. That '72 topps set, I bought the whole thing back in '72 for about 12 bucks & still have them, only they're not mint.

  • You probably already found this out but Bill Melton was with the White Sox at that point in his career.

Love the Topps All Star Rookie Trophy cards and to me a rough cut from that era is cool by me. Back then, cards were made for pennies to help sell gum to kids so being off centered or a rough cut should not be a huge knock on vintage cards.

Neat stuff by the way, thanks for opening it.

  • love this break!!!!! those cards are dripping with gloss!!!
