There were a number of wheeled future scrap iron collections back in the day. The Pacer comes to mind. But, there are also some new contenders of which the Nissan Cube is a perfect example. All of these pale in comparison to womens clothing fashion designers, though :P
I just can't picture the farmers of Britain traversing the fields and lanes in this.

I can kind of see that. But as someone who grew up loving that original Land Rover shape, I can see the series I more than anything else.
