I had the procedure and after a month and a half I started my period. The bleeding became more severe than I had ever experienced prior to the procedure (5 days straight of heavy bleeding) and required I take Magase to help stop it and it still lasted for 49 days. Now my doctor wants to schedule a hysterectomy! If you have any family history of uterine cancer don't have this done. The doctor's will no longer be able to visually see any abnormal growth in the endometrial tissue.

I had Thermachoice yesterday and wanted to let anyone considering this know it was pretty easy. The worst part, by far, was that they gave me general anesthesia and I was nauseous all day. I've had very slight cramping, but nothing I can't manage with ibuprofen (and one Fentanyl shot before I left the doctor's office!) Today I'm having slight cramps that feel like regular menstrual cramps. Discharge has been minimal so far.

With any procedure it can be dangerous, questions to ask~where will the engouragement of blood go since your body still prepares for a cycle~this video says "while the lining is treated, more like mis-treated" it may work for many but there will always be 1 in the bunch or more that will have serious complications~one is heart disease, fluid build-up and of course death~even if its 1% its too high for me as a mother

hi! I think so to! My only problem is now, i have no more medical aid so i have to pay cash for consultations. I think i should just speak to my house Dr. He is very good. I trust him. I hope i do not have to go under the knife again. Grrrr.

Just did this yesterday, was very painful for about 3 minutes.. I got very sweaty and nauseated during, I thought I was going to puke or pass out, but it passed. Menstral cramping several hours after.. fine the next day. No bleeding so far. I recommend it highly. No pain, no gain.

Hi! I had it done about 1 year ago and i have had a lot less bleeding but i have started experiencing something different now. Clotting and an odor. I am a clean person and feel very embarrassed. I don't know what to make of it. I have asked the Dr and he has given me medication but it is still there. The smell is almost like dead meat. It sounds sick i know but i just want to know if there is someone else out there that could be experiencing the same problem.

I also want to know, WHAT are the dangers of pregnancy after a Therma choice? what can happen? I would like to become a surrogate mother but now i just don't know. Can anyone answer this question? Can i die? Can the bay die?

@Archangel7722 Your not supposed to try to get pregnant after this procedure!

Your uterus will no longer provide the blood / nurishment to the baby.

You will probably miscarry if anything takes. DON'T DO IT if you plan to get pregnant.

@Archangel7722 go see another doctor, you may have in infection - sounds like your doc did a slop job, do not see him again.

@Archangel7722 hi i had the same problem after my therma choice. the Dr said that it was a bacterial infection called garnerella or something that lives in the vagina and ,i don't know about you ,but my menstrual bleeding ain't heavy anymore yet it last longer and since the procedure i have had 3 or 4 of this odor cause by this bacteria .He gave me clotrimazole 500 mg once intravaginal and always clears off the infection
