  • That was easily the most amazing performance I've ever seen of this piece!.. I'm learning this for my Grade 8 and I just can't get it to come together! You make it look so easy!

  • I was wondering if that grand piano was either Yamaha or Steinway? It sounded unusually brighter for this composition.

  • @z5ajdt It's a Bosendorfer

  • Very good pushing and pulling of the speed..and the loudness is well controlled as well such that the left hand does not over power the melody..overall this is very chopin

  • i like the way he plays it. soft and flowing like a river slowly winding its way across a flat plain

  • Excelente.

  • GRACIAS A DIOS POR CHOPIN.

  • Most excellent my friend, my favorite classical piano piece of all time.

  • GRACIAS A DIOS POR BEETHOVEN Y CHOPIN.

  • This is one of the most beautiful compositions written, and this is just about the best rendition I have ever heard of it.

  • really lovely!

  • You are an inspiration to me. I'm a freshman in college studying piano and this is one of the songs I'm learning. Hearing it beforehand, especially so wonderfully interpreted, helps so much! So, in turn, I thank you!! :)

  • Perfect music to listen to after a long, hard day :)

  • @theBOSS3105 me2

  • @Jaocagomez Defnitely! I LOVE MUSE and Matt Bellamy is a great musician!

  • perfect.

  • Beautifully played

  • Listening to this was pure bliss. Its as if everything was right in the world; at least for 4 min 40 seconds.

  • Really nice. Matt Bellamy plays this at the end of 'United States of Eurasia' by Muse.

  • I love a good bit of Chopin

  • This was delightful :)

  • lol I also played this, and at 3:57, I played this using both hands. lol My (former) teacher said it was a good idea. She bought my Bosendorfer and has videos that I took of her at the Taubman Institute of Piano at Amherst, MA - Check Sondra Tammam. She's a very good teacher. Check her out, and enjoy!

    Ciao!

  • Im curious to know if the pianist in this video also plays the Violin or Cello? By the way he moves his fingers...resembles one who would also play the violin or cello...

  • what a pro

  • good good good

  • It sounds a bit mechanized, especially the two parts at 01:51-01:58 and 02:51- 02:58.

This nocturne could be interpreted more bit fluent, the performance is only a standard one in my opinion.

    Otherwise, is a good intepretation.

  • what model is your piano?

    it's got an amazing sound!!!

  • @ruskybalboa its a bosendorfer

  • what a lovely, seasoned sound that piano has . . .

  • My favourite part is where it starts at 0:51, and parts that have that theme - the descending scale, although it's not exactly a scale.

  • amazing and perfectly played, thank you

  • Two haters deserve to be executed. Beautiful.

  • Je suis sur que j'ai entendu cette chanson par quelque place d'autre. Saviez-vous si un film, or quelque chose comme ça a utilisé cela?

  • @zUchihaCloudz C'est une chanson très populaire.

  • brilliant.. i think i just melted. :)

  • what does opus mean?

  • means work

  • aaaaaaaa!!! i cant get the right tempo for this song.. i was playing it too fast , so i slowed it down.. i recorded it.. and now its way to slow!!! i need help.. im gonna play this in less than 23 hours!!!

  • Played at perfection.

  • @louismarcil i thought the same thing..

  • 2 people who dislike this are still on the planet where is suffering ans dispair.

  • Meu Deus .... essa é a música mais bonita que eu ouvi em toda minha vida!

  • dang sure wish i could remember the titles to all these awesome chopin songs. nocturne, e flat, opus, number... etc.. oi, gives me a headache.

i have some nocturne pieces up on my own youtube site, but i wrote them, and they're in guitar, so not really sure if it counts! :D :P hahaha

  • @jot2b

    my favorites. op 72 no 1. op 9 no 2. op 55 no 1. Walts op 64 no 2.

  • how pleasant to the ear!!!

  • United States of Eurasia

    Anyone get the reference?

  • i love this kind of music... I hate this time-->present

I think that the past was better for the humans

Told me who can compose such a music in this present? The people haven`t got time; everyone is busy and look for money =( FUCK THIS PRESENT

  • @Alex201988 if you lived in the time of Chopin where you are, you would never hear this beautiful piece nor see other marvelous things through the wonder of the internet

  • @arcar03

jeah you are right, but i never see the pros of this time

I believe that nowadays the life is more terrible as the past

In the end you are right; icouldnt hear that beautiful song without the Internet:)

    thx for your positiv thinking

    peace

  • beautiful piece.. beautifully executed.. beautiful bosendorfer.. i wish i had one

  • this is so amazing i wish i could play this piece....

  • there are no words...

  • absolutely beautiful. flawless in every way.

  • hermosa melodia!

  • excellent

  • Merci... sans doute mon morceau préféré de Chopin. Si délicat, si envoutant... une perle de la musique romantique. Je ne me sens jamais tant emportée que quand j'écoute ceci, les yeux fermés, avec une larme qui peut s'en échapper...

    Merveilleux...

  • I first heard this piece on muse's united states of eurasia. The piecse comes in at the end to finish the song. I loved the piece when i heard it then. Played by matt bellamy. You should check the song out.

  • He's pretty good, but the song is soo bad

  • He's pretty good, but the song is soo bad

  • He's pretty good, but the song is soo bad

  • @pianoman2460 First off, this isn't a song you moron it's a Nocturne. Row row row your boat, is a song. Secondly, someone with your obvious lack of knowledge in the works of the Masters has no business critiquing even a 4 yr old playing chopsticks, let alone critiquing a pianist of Tzvi's caliber playing one of the greatest Nocturnes ever written.

Get a clue or stay with videos of Hannah Montana or the Chipmunks, hopefully those artists won't be too sophisticated for you.

  • @tripleJ1955 Could you clarify about how this isn't a song? There are songs without words according to your argument like Mendelssohn's "Song Without Words"

  • @tripleJ1955 Could you clarify what your definition of a song is? How is this piece not a song? I guess Beethoven's Sonatas aren't songs either because they're called Sonatas, but Mendelssohn's "Song Without Words" would be called a song? I don't seem to follow your logic at all. I showed my music professor and he laughed at your comment o.o

  • I do not find this song depressing at all, it's so beautiful. My absolute favourite piano piece of all time. I always associate a visual with every piece I play, and for this one I think of the sun rising on a beautiful spring morning with the flowers slowly opening, their petals all covered in dew.

  • wow this is prolly the best performance of this i've heard so far

  • We heard that song today in orchestra. I love it. Chopin is a great composer :)

  • damn this a beautiful song, but its so depressing, and no im not an emo lol i hate those kids

  • Why?

  • T_T

    amazing

  • my eyes teared, beautiful piece.

  • No one plays it as well as he does..

  • Beautiful <3

  • Among my finest memories is listening to my Dad play this on his Steinway. This recording is as close to Dad's as I have ever heard. Precious.

    John

  • Beautiful

  • o.o amazing (!)

    my inspiration <3 (:

  • some day i'll play that song... i will

  • a beautiful crisp interpretation played on a beautiful piano - there is no better than bosendorfer :)

  • Probably the most authentic, expressive version of this song I've ever heard. Very moving. Sublime piano too.

  • This nocturne as played by Tzvi takes me to a place where all of the pain and suffering in this world are simply melted away. I wish I could stay there.

  • @tripleJ1955 me too, my friend, me too...

  • @tripleJ1955 Repeat button. :D

  • @tripleJ1955 hit the repeat button

  • An outstandingly beautiful interpretation. Very well played.

  • Wow...

  • Beautifully played. This is exactly how chopin would have wanted it to be played. I am playing his nocturne in F major but I like this one too I might play it after I finish this one. =)

  • Just out of curiousity, how do you know that its just the way chopin wanted it to be played?

  • exactly what I was thinking before I read your message.

  • Nonetheless, I certainly agree, this is Beautifully played.

  • ya no. showed him this youtube vid, and they had a chat about it over some starbucks. ;]

beautiful interpretation by the way, Tzvi .

  • It was just in general....Im just saying any pianist would want their piece to be played beautifully...And this was played beautifully. I don't know how he played 200 years ago. Okay?

  • What you mean is that Erez plays it just the way YOU want it to be played, am I right?

But we dont need to argue about this, I also think it is beautifully played!

  • @ArtduBois Je suis d'accord!

  • United States of Eurasia.

    Ya wide?

  • wow

  • its so nice!

  • WOW! =) When your album does come out I will definitely buy it!!!
