Antvenom! There are so many suggestions! When you see a lava spurt out of one piece of stone use a block on it to block it off! And make another bucket and dig a 2x2 square to make an unlimited water source to kill of lava and such!

@epiclyepic99 Cave mining is the absolute worst way to find diamonds. a more efficient way to mine is branch mining. caves just "cut through" resources when they spawn.

I think a creeper blast point blank on normal is 8 hearts, but you have armor on so porbably only 6 hearts
