The beginning music reminds me of Harry Potter. You don't know how long we have been waiting for this game ever since the Wii motion plus was ever introduced last year. You can tell it'll probably be the best wii game once it's been released in retail stores. So i'm guessing it's rated M for blood, gore and violence.

@MetroidFan85 there is a story, mostly through the enviroment. Try playing it single player and take you time getting through a map, look at everything. The story is there.
@MetroidFan85 it's not in your face, you have to figure out what happened. Like for example, a body is laying there with a blanket over it. Survivors were there before you, one died, but due to the condition of the world they couldn't give them a proper burial, as a sign or respect they covered the body the best they could. That's an example from Valve.

@dmorey1229 yes they did do motion technology better first, and yes micro and sony are copying, but nintendo should have also had HD and better graphics first. they used MC's as a way to market a cheap usless piece of shit. I loved nintendo. My first console was an NES. They need to bring themselves up to par with PS3 and 360 if they want me to have any respect for them. To me it is sad that instead of delivering the best console they stuck in motion controls forgot everything else.
They didn't forget, they simply were running on a low budget. Remember that beautiful little lunch box that packed the most power and graphics capability in the 6th gen? That cute little Gamecube? Yeah, the support on that console due to the disc and the format of it, wow, difficult. The PS2 had most support with the shittiest graphics of the 3 consoles. Wii is 3x as strong s a GC with 480p, enjoy it OR wait a good wait for the next Nintendo console.

@Lilsmasha1 Don't worry. The Wii is getting the original FPS version, while the PS3, and the 360 get the top-down shooter version. So technically, it is still exclusive to the Wii.
That is all rumor. They are self funded and can hold on to the game as long as they need. The reason they haven't found a publisher is because they haven't shown off any new fps gameplay since E3 2009 and that was Pre-alpha. Once they take this out from behind closed doors they should have no trouble finding a publisher so I wouldn't worry about that.
Yeah, they said in that interview at HD Warriors that they were gonna show Conduit 2 and The Grinder off soon and Conduit 2 will be out before E3 so that leaves GDC. I can't wait. Finally a game to get my mind off Black Ops.

woot im so happy i know l4d will never b on ps3 and the grinder will replace it just fine i mean it probably will have zombies and just about any other horror entities and i heard 4 characters have completely different styles but all fps like the main guy would be played like l4d and another is a girl that has a katana that plays like the 1st redsteel with better controls. i dont about the other 2 but this seems fun

IGN has confirmed that the 360 and PS3 versions are TOP DOWN shooters and not FPS games. Since this is confirmed only 1 month after this footage was released the Wii version is most likely to still be an FPS (I highly doubt they would completely change it after so much work).
Also there is evidence that this is definately a FPS game trailer. Look very carefully at 0:44 and youll see for a moment a guy holding a gun in FP view

1) They've been developing the Wii version of the game for ages now and that was confirmed to be an FPS.
2) The reason why they changed the 360/PS3 version to a top down shooter was because there are so many FPS games on the market for the 360/PS3, so HVS used their brains and decided to go for something else. This of course does not apply to the Wii as there are barely any FPS games on the Wii.

It's coming out in 2011 i think, so it might use the PS3 motion controller! That would be sweet, the game looks awesome and it'll sell more on 3 platforms than it would on one.
the problem with the ps3 motion controller is that it has no pointer unless you're talking about the ping-pong ball on a stick. Therefore, the only possible application would be for melee attacks or grenade throwing. The ping pong ball on a stick is just a reverse of the wii's IR sensitivity, and while it could be used well for aiming, there would be no other use for it due to its lack of buttons or a second hand for meleeing or throwing grenades.Therefore, get it for wii.
The Playstation Arc (actually, sony says that's not the new motion controller's name) does have a pointer unlike the Dualshock 3. It as of now has 5 buttons and no joystick (4 face and one trigger). It just doesn't seem to be enough for a first person shooter first of all, and it also is a blatant rip off of the wii remote's IR tracking ability, only in reverse and with visible light. The use would be no better than with the wii motion plus.
Yeah, that makes sense. Although my brother(a total PS fanboy, and a Wii hater) thinks Playstation Arc is better. XD I just don't think it's practical, they need some sort on nunchuk.

@Lilsmasha1 Don't worry. The Wii is getting the original FPS version, while the PS3, and the 360 get the top-down shooter version. So technically, it is still exclusive to the Wii.

That is all rumor. They are self funded and can hold on to the game as long as they need. The reason they haven't found a publisher is because they haven't shown off any new fps gameplay since E3 2009 and that was Pre-alpha. Once they take this out from behind closed doors they should have no trouble finding a publisher so I wouldn't worry about that.

Yeah, they said in that interview at HD Warriors that they were gonna show Conduit 2 and The Grinder off soon and Conduit 2 will be out before E3 so that leaves GDC. I can't wait. Finally a game to get my mind off Black Ops.

dont know if i should get this for my ps3 or wii(not my pc) depends i dont really care about graphics like if the other pointing and shooting and katana slashing is accurate id get for wii but if the wii version loses content like less maps, game modes, and no add-ons(like cod5 no nazi zombies or demolition) then i get the ps3 version. but damn 2011 towards the end of the year?

woot im so happy i know l4d will never b on ps3 and the grinder will replace it just fine i mean it probably will have zombies and just about any other horror entities and i heard 4 characters have completely different styles but all fps like the main guy would be played like l4d and another is a girl that has a katana that plays like the 1st redsteel with better controls. i dont about the other 2 but this seems fun

IGN has confirmed that the 360 and PS3 versions are TOP DOWN shooters and not FPS games. Since this is confirmed only 1 month after this footage was released the Wii version is most likely to still be an FPS (I highly doubt they would completely change it after so much work).
Also there is evidence that this is definately a FPS game trailer. Look very carefully at 0:44 and youll see for a moment a guy holding a gun in FP view

it will be on wii for sure guys. plus I've seen fps on wii they have pre-rendered graphics sometimes which isn't as good but its pretty good. it will honestly not sell as much on wii becouse admit it gamers usually choose ps3 or xbox 360.

Why?
1) They've been developing the Wii version of the game for ages now and that was confirmed to be an FPS.
2) The reason why they changed the 360/PS3 version to a top down shooter was because there are so many FPS games on the market for the 360/PS3, so HVS used their brains and decided to go for something else. This of course does not apply to the Wii as there are barely any FPS games on the Wii.

@Shovelware Its obviously not taken straight from the game since its nto comin out for a year .. but i doubt this kind of animation would be for a top down shootre.If you look at the screenshots, the PS360 version of this game has a totally different artstyle. If you look at the wii gameplay videos, this matches spot on to the artsyle.
This is not footage straight from the game but this is a trailer for the wii version. Not PS360.

This was a stupid ass move by HVS. In an interview the guy even said "Well we saw L4D and thought, hey, nobody is doing anything like this on the Wii"..... and so they go and make it multiplatform? Well now instead of a bad ass origional Wii exclusive title its just a fuckin multiplatform L4D ripoff !!! Whatever, I was excited for a reason to bust out the Wii now I will probably get it for the ps3 or not at all

why get it for freaking ps3!!!! the controls are the highlight of high voltage software's fps titles. The Conduit offered more immersive, accurate, quick, and intuitive controls than any fps to date, along with a kick ass engine for the wii, why get this for ps3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's coming out in 2011 i think, so it might use the PS3 motion controller! That would be sweet, the game looks awesome and it'll sell more on 3 platforms than it would on one.

the problem with the ps3 motion controller is that it has no pointer unless you're talking about the ping-pong ball on a stick. Therefore, the only possible application would be for melee attacks or grenade throwing. The ping pong ball on a stick is just a reverse of the wii's IR sensitivity, and while it could be used well for aiming, there would be no other use for it due to its lack of buttons or a second hand for meleeing or throwing grenades.Therefore, get it for wii.

The Playstation Arc (actually, sony says that's not the new motion controller's name) does have a pointer unlike the Dualshock 3. It as of now has 5 buttons and no joystick (4 face and one trigger). It just doesn't seem to be enough for a first person shooter first of all, and it also is a blatant rip off of the wii remote's IR tracking ability, only in reverse and with visible light. The use would be no better than with the wii motion plus.

Yeah, that makes sense. Although my brother(a total PS fanboy, and a Wii hater) thinks Playstation Arc is better. XD I just don't think it's practical, they need some sort on nunchuk.
Lol, and the funny thing is, I have a PSP and he has a DS XD.
On another note, I hope Nintendo doesn't try to sue Sony, like Apple is suing HTC now. GAWD I hate useless lawsuits.
