there are other gay characters in the game too. plus in the DA books!

HILARIOUS! I'm on my second play through. I opted for an alastair romance that ended BADLY with my cute dalish elf, but on my second run i've been working with Zevran and I have to say he's awesome. XD

Also, Kevin the dwarf. CLASSY. Man, now I need to check out the Pearl. I skipped the whoring my first go round as my pretty lass wasn't into it (plus, I think Al would have gotten pissed).

This is a lot of fun - you commentary was good, but your voiceover for the dwarven lines was better. There is more sex fun to unlock at the Pearl if you ask her to "surprise me" including some massively scary dildos and possibly barnyard animals. Also, make sure you do Shale's sidequest.

After I upgraded my graphics card, suddenly all the characters had eyes in color. Beforehand, everyone (except Morrigan) had black eyes. Kind of shocking on those with really green or blue eyes after running through the entire game on an older machine.

I do find the sex scene between a male dwarf and elf hilarious..I mean, Dwarves/Elves in fantasy typically do not get along, and, the dwarf which is half the size of Zevran tops..which brings up an odd question of how did that work out exactly? Then again..zev's an assassin..perhaps he's part contortionist /shrug

Aye Shale is a woman, when you play her origin story you find this out. But, yeah not many gay stereotypes in this game. Though, it would've been nice for a strictly gay character..Zevran is bi and the whores are..well whores. But hey..babysteps.

I need to go through the game again and do all the personal quests... it wasn't as easy as Mass Effect to get everything pretty much done. Plus I pissed Sten off and never had any more dialogue choices with him again, other than to ask him to leave, and got Shale pretty late in the game. Plus I was already playing a warrior, so I usually had a thief type in the party instead.

Oh..you..did you side with (going to be vague for no spoilers) that one person during that one event in the deep roads? Because if you did, siding with this, specific lady causes Shale will never forgive you.

Naw! Though I think that one is the evil choice, right? I made that certain lady mad. I just didn't really pursue Shale's dialog trees with much fervor! But that's okay, means that when I play a more evil character next time I can see some of the Shen \ Shale backstory stuff.

Shale's actually more neutral that leans toward good, just in the dialouge keep mentioning things that seem right to you and she'll give positive alignment points. And take her with you on the deep roads, and don't side with that specific lady and she'll gain a +20 alignment boost.

Hey! I just got Shale's personal quest AND Leliana's personal quest. Then Leliana sang to me, and that was just awkward.

Leliana's haunting song by the fire, where everyone looks away or seems completely uninterested because the characters have a hard time expressing emotions on their faces lol. It's one of the small problems I have with the game.

Yeah, her face during said performance was... creepy. I liked the montage of the characters reflection on previous events (kinda like a final montage in an episode of Lost) but the uncanny valley during her performance was very noticible. My biggest issue with her song was the fact that it was so obviously not her singing and all the bizarre accompaniment from nowhere. I'm all for bardish magic, but the song would have been much better if it was Leliana's actual voice done a capella.
