I have a question. How long/wide are the engines?

All four are just over an inch wide. Thomas and Percy are just over two inches long, Gordon is almost 3 1/2 inches and James is just under 3.

Do they have turning wheels, couplings or anything?

I'm afraid they are solid lumps of resin with no moving features, but they are pretty nice and a good size.

Ahh, there was me thinking they were plastic push along toys or something since I wasnt sure was resin was.

This is the reason why I think they were made to go with the moving track playsets.
