  • This video made me smile. Why? Because I have a developmentally delayed child, and the joy that we feel for accomplishments like this one makes all of the hard times seem worth it. Things that other parents take for granted, we celebrate. My son is 6 1/2 and still wears pull-ups, but because of an awesome program at his school... he finally pees in the toilet sometimes! We're still working on it, though. Good luck to you guys.

  • Great job Sagan! Keep up the good work and God Bless you all ;)

  • Congratulations to you and your son. It is great to see his progress, and it is great comment on super parenting.

  • Thats the greatest thing that he is walking! Will he gorw up like every other kid? I HOPE! im happy for him and hope hes running soon!

  • Well I hope that there is no stopping you now and no holding back may God bless you and make you stronger and better everyday in every way

  • What type of diapers is that? i know he's developmentally younger, but it looks like one of those baby diapers

  • I think it is a pull-up. We're still struggling with potty training...

  • Oh right, well good luck :)

Does he use one of those walker thingys? or a wheelchair?

  • He had been in several walkers, but not anymore! Now he is totally, if not somewhat unsteadily, mobile. He even walks up steps by himself. Considering they said he'd never walk, we're quite happy with that. They are going to fit him with some (more) foot supports/inserts this month, however.

  • Oh right, well good luck! all the best!!

  • im 11, i had development issues (didnt talk until i was 7 years old) and i still never got fully potty trained :(

  • Keep hope! Our son is now 9 and he walks even better. He still falls some, but has improved so much. We never have gotten a good reason for his delays, but he is happy. No talking yet, but his motor skills continue to improve.

  • That is inspiring, my 3 year ols is delayed, and we still don't know the root of the problem. It gives me hope one day, he too, will be able to walk. Thanks!

  • That awesome hope he keeps doing well
