  • I got the hots for Tubbs....I wanna see her precious things!!!!

  • Bloody creepy but very funny. I would seriously shit my trousers if I went into a shop like that up on the moors and that came creeping up behind me. lol.

  • We didn't burn him! --

  • Dark UK sketch comedy with a hint of mint. This is our first video and we'd love to know what you think. If you like it please rate, comment, subscribe!

  • This series improved dramatically when they dropped the awful laugh track.

  • i watched this as a kid and some of it scared the shit out of me lol

  • Can I help you at all?

  • everytime someone rings me i first say (posh vice) "this is a local house for local people! .... are you a local?

Or the time when i caught someone breaking into my garage at night, and i went out and said "hello hello whats going on, whats all this shouting!?! we'll have no trouble here!"

He ran of, freaked out!! hahahahaha

  • The laughter track ruins this

  • Only if you let it and make it a problem yourself. Laughter tracks have been around for a long time I would have thought people would have gotten used to them by now. Anyway I don't even think this is a laughter track it was filmed and showed in front of a live audience.

  • Tubbs is beautiful.

  • That's funny hahaha

    Lolollololol

  • Lol

  • The always say that there's a fine line between horror and comedy, which is why LoG is so great. It's simultaneously the most hilarious and terrifying thing I've ever seen

  • This is the first LoG sketch I saw. I forget how I stumbled on it first, but I knew I definitely wanted to see more.

  • This is a shop for local people lol. I lived in the Fens for some years and it was sometimes similar to this! But luckily I never heard of any special deliveries to the Butchers!

  • @Pipeskin WTH are those special delivery anyways?

  • @tsjoencinema It's the delivery of "meat" or "sausages" after Tubbs and Edward have killed someone who entered their shop. Grotesque, but funny!

  • @Pipeskin ohhh.... LOL ><

  • omg no omg this shit is to great. im from texas high as fuck watched both seasons in one night after getting baked. this shit is to funny. i was smoking with a friend and was like what kind of bud is that dog....is it local bud lol

  • Royston Vasey is like a british version of Seattle, minus the northern UK accents.

There are so many people in Seattle that have this inbred, insular, child-rapey vibe to them, god its so creepy LOL!!!!

I've had so many experiences with people like those shop keepers here, and I've never seen so many unsuccessful, unconvincing transvestites like the taxi driver barbra before I moved to Seattle.

I wonder if the makers of League of Gentlemen had Seattle in mind.......surely not.

  • 'Hello, hello. What's going on? What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here'.

  • Just wish they lost the laugh track.

  • I love this show, but I had to look up what a Tealeaf was, that's a phrase that I haven't heard outside the UK. Especially since the term is brought up again in Psychoville.

    These guys are geniouses.

  • reminds me of my town

  • I have just bought a house, after years living in a lovely friendly village, only to find that the village where I now live is populated by people who make Tubbs and Edward look like forward thinking tourism tsars.

    Insular parochial tosspots!

(sorry, had to vent somewhere and youtube seems as good a place as any)

  • you heard the man tubbs....get undressed! this has become my favorite quote of all time.

  • i admit that during episode one I was creeped out of my mined but by episode 2 i was hooked! i was.... local....

  • am i the only one thinking this is creepy as hell

  • @blablabl4cky yes, but it is also funny as hell!

  • one of the guys come from hull like me ( :

  • He has a plan!.... He coverts the precious things of the shop!

  • What year was this made?

  • I'm pretty sure this ep is from the first series, which was made in 1999, I believe.

  • @Theferretatemygelato

    its ep 1

  • 1996

  • i actually bought some of that hilary briss "special meat"

  • ****ing laugh track.

    " You..heard the man, Tubbs...Get undressed "

    lolol

  • WOOOOOOAAAAAH!! "What are you doing?....."Don't touch the things!"

    Ha Ha

  • I was amazed to realise that it's only three guys doing all these wonderful impressions :-) very talented!

  • @seacoastofbohemia Well said but it looks like this may been the high point of all their carreers considering what they have done since is not as funny as this

  • Lol I know a woman who looks just like Tubbs

  • he covets the precious things!!!

    quality quote worthy series.

  • I havn't watched this in such a long time, I went though a year or watching like, a series a day, over and over... I was completel obsessed, I could remember every line. So I felt in-order for me not to ruin it for myself, I would give it a break. So I have, and I think Ill get out all my DVD's and watch it again soon. :) I miss it.

Gosh, I even based 2 GCSE exam pieces on The League! lol :)

Psychoville made me miss Royston Vasey- it was just so typical humour from Reece and Steve!

  • Another one called Psychoville is coming out on Thursday 19th of June.

  • Psychoville was great, did else anyone see episode 2? It was on BBCi

  • i saw it it was so funny and weird

  • pauline for employment secretary, obviously

  • papa lazouru should be the pope

  • that..would be much more interesting uk indeed

  • Another appointment of mine in a LOG government...Herr Lippe as the Minister of Internal Security. Wouldn't that be really scary?!

  • Whats all this shouting we'll have no trouble here! This is a local comment for local people!

  • tell him I'm all wrong inside!

    hahaha

  • Man, the laugh track really damages it. I can see why they got rid of it for season 3. Much better without it.

  • I prefer the laughing, myself.

  • i agree. i think the laughter track kinda ruins the darkness of the show

  • ahahahaah,

so fucking off the wall lol :D

  • Fkn brilliant show

  • "Rape our dead mouths!" How'd they ever get away with that on the bbc?

  • Fuck this is the funniest thing ever

  • This is how people in southwestern virginia act towards "outsiders".

  • I think Brits are aware of life`s absurdity and drabness.

  • tottaly agreed, even if i'm not British i have to say that there's nothing better than British comedy and league of gentelmen:D love them...

  • "You people come in here.. Young!!"
