  • I wish we had tater tots in our cc cafeteria.

  • 346 ppl were too stupid to get into a university.

  • An amusing and educational video. Life as a comic is really not for the faint-hearted. Keep up the good work!

  • You should come to Centre College to do a show! UofL may not have a sense of humor, but only 100 miles away, you have a pretty large fanbase with the Centre students in Danville.

  • look at that chin, it wont end

  • You're eyes are so far apart.

  • I performed at a place that called itself "the Biggest Comedy Club on Broadway" but they must have meant bigger than any place on Broadway in maybe... Wisconsin? This was a NYC show the guy arranging it was late, last minute they threw in an extra act so the rest of us had to pack 10 minute routines into 8 minutes and people seemed to think I was giving a political thesis because they appeared afraid that if they laughed I would be insulted. Nooners can be at 8PM in comedy clubs :p

  • Holy crap! Louisville is my home university! I can't believe that my brethren were jerks like that.

  • Oh, god, that was painful to watch! Nothin' like playing for crickets and being ignored to really make you think you should have gotten that accounting degree.

  • Nooner at a college??? Try every fuggn sports bar gig I've ever played... 1 guy with a guitar vs. 20 big screens with sports or chicks wrestling in jello or HSN, painful way to pay the bills.

  • Ouch . . lol

  • Nice explanation.

  • It's different but shouldn't be harder.

Could pretend you are just another teacher, teach them how the economy works. From wage slavery to ivory towers. Do a review of the Ferengi rules of acquisition. The purpose of life is to please the president. Be very serious about it. Warn kids for not paying attention. A teacher act then fail to win. lol

    It's just a thought.

  • I wish he does more videos, there good stuff

  • Wow, Rob...I'm from that area of Nebraska & tho I didn't attend that school...I would've gladly sat & watched...I would've given you a waaaay better intro too...I would've got some friends to stay and we'd have all laughed and cheered our asses off.

  • what great ways you have to make things work, both in doing the gigs, and handling it in your head!

  • it would be awesome if you could do a comedy skit at my college. but that problem wouldn't go over...it's a private christian school. you're too funny to be allowed.

  • Throw a few jokes about darwinism and you'll be loved, I guess...

  • and this is why I don't want to be a comedian

  • true...

  • try us at NYU...

  • Made possible by a grant from the Nooner Fund. ha ha!

  • I wish my life was a comic as well, but mine's pretty much of a nightmare!

  • love your vids man ! =D

  • lol im from nebraska

  • you look like Matthew Lillard, you can totally see it when your posing with all of your cool stuff you bought!

  • go to uw-milwaukee next year my friend and i are transferring there and go to every comedy show our current school puts up :)

  • aww

  • You're awesome man.

  • i second that wholeheartedly

  • Rob, please, PLEASE come to CVCC. I'd get a big group up for you, and somehow convince some of the student clubs to pay for it. =D

  • They also might have food access to throw it at you I had that happen at my school...and I didn't do stand up DX I did sometimes actually. My friends loved it cus we would play off of each other.

  • Sorry the UL students were so rude--I go there now and I think you're hilarious--I wish I had been at uni when you came. Thanks for sharing your wonderful sense of humor! :)

  • Rob, you have GREAT ways to deal with the challenges............

  • sorry they were rude. I just started attending UofL. I like your stuff.

  • So when are you doing a show in a Cleveland, Ohio comedy stage?!

  • haha, they had a promotion show at my high school like that.. it was hell for the 15 year old kid who was also in our school to get some attention.. he should've seen this video before hand.

I think nooners(nice words!) should just be banned, because it raises suicides rates and career changes amongst performance artists XD

  • You're hilarious!

    Loooool.

    I think you're extremely talented.

  • Awesome! I've been watching your Pachelbel rant on my favorites on and off for the last couple of years - I don't know how, but I missed the fact that you have your own, whole, channel! Wow! You're so funny - did you ever notice that truly funny people are always smart???? :)

  • dude! SHOW UP AT MY COLLEGE!!!... haha

  • If I was there, I would stand up and shout: YOU ARE THE BOSS!!!!!!

I love your videos, can't understand why they did not know you!!!

  • jeez thats so hard. i can only imagine the sorta shit that u and other like urself have to deal with... props to u

  • Marry me!!!

  • ur really funny, and even inspirational too

  • Love this video... XD

  • Here at my university the runner-up of the second season of the local "American Idol/Pop Idol" show did a nooner. It was in front of the cafeteria. And I passed behind her on my way to get lunch. I was "backstage" so to say. It almost hurt to see that; the poor girl standing in front of about 30 people while hundrets streamed in the cafeteria. I can imagine what you must feel doing that. Strange how the atmosphere, location and situation can make a difference

  • Dude I used to be on the student activites committee that hired for those pathetic nooners. God, even we felt like failures. Yeah, here's this money, entertain the students the adminstration tells us. Students who will not show up for anything! Regardless of how much you promote it, the fame of the name, etc. I commend you for sticking it out.

  • ROFL, "You people bought this for me". If you came to my school I'd probably severely bitchslap anyone who wasn't paying full attention.

  • My band used to do nooners and I thought it was a gas, but then we were a band... and we were outside. We can't do them now because we all have day jobs, and schools can't afford to hire bands anymore.

  • lol it's the same with music gigs on campus as well....i know i've seen many of a not so happening campus gig.

  • I love it.

  • thats rough. you should come put on a gig at my school.

  • I stayed to the end and now I'm late to class!

  • nice one! Love your videos!

  • That's awesome. It always has looked awkward to me having to get up in front of a bunch of people who don't care and trying to get them to laugh.

  • Interesting episode. Nice work!

  • This is great! :)

  • Dude, if you're in Auburn any time in the next four years or so...well, that'd be pretty sweet.

  • lol i think you look like shaggy from the scooby doo movie

  • yeah...you're SO right...

  • this is absolutely great!

  • I still find it impressive how you manage to be funny while not showing us any new material here. Well done.

  • This Guy has already made it big, he gigs all of Americas biggest uni's and well known sataday night clubs.

  • Good for you man. I hope you make it big. If that is what you want. You do well directly addressing the camera too. You look kind of like a geeky Ben Affleck. You should put that in the act.

  • You are wonderful! ^_^

You should come to WH PCC!!!!

^_^ I'd skip class to watch you!

  • Wow. You know, I'm an aspiring comedian/entertainer/show-businessman and I definetely admire you. And dude, come to Quebec City !

  • Very good series, especially for aspiring comics. :O

  • Great. see other great videos in Comedy, Entertainment and Sports on B50v com!!!

  • wow. that was awesome. thanks for the tips!

  • awsome, love the way you say 'oh exellent, stuned' when you walk on stage. lol

  • Thanks for coming to CCC- Columbus. Rob P. You Rock!!

  • you should come to UCSB!

  • Hahaha that's tough!

  • you are unique!

you should come to barcelona... we need comedians like you :)

  • I just want to say that,I think you're great :D

  • If there's ever a nooner at my community college. I'll give them a dollar

    XD

  • I would like to know why you are doing a "nooner" at UofL.

  • you need like, a show o.0

  • Boy, you're nice! I've only just "discovered" you and you're one of my favourite comedians already! Your Pachelbel Rant had me in stitches as well as the Children's Song (I've got a two-year-old daughter and all you said was SO spot-on!). So thanks and keep up the good work! I'll be watching from this side of the ocean. Pam =)

  • you're awfully good-looking(:

  • man !!! never saw that side of the medal !

  • You are a brave and awesome person.

  • I always knew a "nooner" involved getting screwed at noon; I just didn't know that was one of the ways, but hey, you are getting paid for it this way.

  • Man. I would love to meet Rob someday. He's my favorite comedian...

Great video. I now know just a tad bit more about life as a comic. Yush.

  • Is it me, or does Rob look a little like Ben Affleck?

  • But this guy is funny and looks like he can act!

  • For what it's worth, I think you;re funny and you have become my new fave comedian...yes...you make me laugh and I recommend you to everyone I know. Keep it up Rob...you rule

  • I definitly would have loved for you to come to my community college... its so boring there, they need you!

  • Haha, the ending was funny...I don't think that students don't like Rob's performance...but they just probably have a lot on their mind to focus on anything else. Lol, bad environment for a show. At night clubs, people expect to see comedy performances; a place to relax. At school, people are too busy studying and a bunch of other stuff. XD

  • I always wondered, and now I know. That wold absoultely suck.. but I'd stay and watch your entire set, and make sure everyone around me did as well haha.

  • What makes you is the insight. Delivery is good too, but doesn't make you, Mr. P.

  • That was great! I go to a community college and i showed a couple of my friends this and they thought it was great.

  • Great! It´s fun to see the world from your side of the stage! :)

  • Poor Rob, these kids couldn´t appreciate your show. Don´t doubt on yourself. You are great and I like your sense of humour and your musical skills.

    Keep on, Judith

  • Awesome. Lol. Just awesome.

Good luck with your future nooners, and find some more creative ways to put that Nooner Fund to use! :D

  • Too much eye shadow! :)

  • Awesome video. Good luck with those nooners dude.

  • good job rob - great put together video blog

  • I like how you explain keeping your balance despite the difficulties of the Nooner. I wish you many nooner underwritten convertables in the future, though perhaps not so hard won as you described. After all, the form sounds hard enough without abuse!

  • haha yesss Paravonian, Love it!!!!

  • That's great - I really like his youtube bits...I've subscribed!!

  • Awesome! Hehe, beer. Wonderful, ne?

Good luck with the nooners! And if they're throwing the waffles and tater tots, then, oh well, free food!

    -Bolt

  • Nooners.. hehe took me back to my college days..

  • Excellent installment of your series!! I feel for you, man! As a musician for 20 years I played my share of nooner-type gigs. Hang in there!

  • you have nice teeth.

  • Childish, but effective! ^^

  • fantastic! this video should get featured in the front page of youtube!

  • I've said it once and I'll say it again - you need a moshpit. :P

  • You should go to a high school... that can be a tough croud...

  • So when are you performing in Vegas? You Crack me up ...

  • Love your stuff. Can't wait to see you in person.

  • A suggestion... CRUISE SHIPS. Good pay, free travel, and they hire plenty of comedians. Good luck!

  • you're doing a nooner at my school in november...

  • Oh man, you're better than that!

  • aw that'd suck. not getting attention XD

  • pachelbel rant ftw id watch and laugh so u could afford another car and 2 iphones; one for u and one for me;

  • I like your vids very much! You really are a funny guy! =)

Nice work and good luck in you comic life! ;)

  • You're still great.

  • once again, amazing

  • Awesome. You sure know how to keep our attention for six minutes and seven seconds. Your stuff is even forwardable. I swear someday I'm gonna drag my ass out to one of your shows.

  • Lol, no joke, keeping my attention for 6 minutes with a youtube video is just short of absolutely incredible. Anything more than 5 and I often don't even bother to try to watch it, much less make it to the end, with only a few exceptions involving subscriptions I really like.

  • your website is named correct my friend rob p does rock

  • Great! <gulping down burrito and running off to class>

  • "Two thumbs up" - New York Times

  • nice vid :)

  • The thing is that when somebody goes to see a comic perform in a comedy club 9times out of 10 alcohol is involved so generally even the unfunny get a few laughs whereas when alcohol isn't involved any laughs earned are genuine and heartfelt from the audience...or maybe thats just me being hard to please?! hmm either way you're one funny guy so...please keep it up...and maybe treat yourself to a working holiday in the uk sometimes hint hint?! LOL

  • i second that lol, the uk- crappy weather, grumpy people and a lot of flip flops for some wierd reason :S what more could you want?!

  • Your vids are great keep it up.

  • Nicely done, Rob... uhm... Parvonieeeh!

  • paravonian is my hero!!!

  • This was great! Trust me if you came to my University and were a nooner you would have an awesome audience!!! 8) We love you!!!!

  • You need to come to Cincinnati, OH.

  • nicee ^^
