  • Thank God I'm going back home this summer.

  • How can anyone not love Barbados? I'm a Brit, I lived there for 10 years and the people are wonderfully tolerant of others. I've travelled the Caribbean and nowhere is friendlier. Barbados has a great infrastructure, NHS, and NIS. It's amazing. The island is stunning with a gorgeous coastline, public beaches, and turquoise sea. But there is poverty just like anywhere else. Those in deteriorating chattel houses don't all live in them through choice. x Love Bim x

  • Great Video! Visit easymilitarytravel. com for great travel deals!

  • I am from Barbados and I have also lived in Engand and travelled widely. There is no poverty in Barbados. The USA has poverty galore. In fact the standard of living in Barbados is even much higher that in the UK and many other places that I have lived or visited. Barbados is not Jamaica

  • The Singer Rihanna, was born in Barbados

  • I wish i can live there...

  • I Live In Barbados N I Love It ....I Don't Mind The Haters Because If Yu Lived Here Believe Mi Yu Would Love It ...My Beautiful Barbados ...Siqh I Love You

  • @adz09ish i believe something wrong with you, u gotta pay Barbados a visit before you post retarded comments.

  • Fuck Barbados

  • @adz09ish Why

  • Barbados look like shit.

  • I've been to Barbados once and can't wait to go back. Also been to Bahamas several times. I LOVE them BOTH! Truthfully, if I had to decide in which country to live, I couldn't decide!

  • i am 16 years old and have been there 4 times, my grandparents have bought a home, it is my favourite of the Caribbean islands, being an island that hosts the richest people in the world such as oprah, and a very popular travel destination for the royal family, it makes this island so beautiful .

  • @TylerBeat I keep hearing this rumour about Oprah having property in Barbados. I think it is a myth. She has property in the Bahamas though....

  • Luka My Bim :) Sooo Beautiful & Fun.. I Live There So i Should Kno ..I Just love It !!

  • im so jealous, my friend is there right now . Can't wait to go this summer :)

  • woooow i really wanna go here so bad its so beautiful <3

  • Me and My Mom are moving to Barbados this summer! i cant wait! lol

  • Me and my mom are oving to barbados this summer im excited! lol

  • lol "BARBADOS, THIS ISLAND HAS POWERS"!" lollollol

  • Love this country

  • @ fertiredoflove...As is worldwide known, the law enforecement of every and any country can sometime get ridiculously out of hand. If said comment made by the Brazilian is true then it is very regretable. I am sure that not every visitor to the USA or Canada or....any European destination is met with warm affection, yet singular and secular incidents such as the one conveyed should never be allowed to take away from the beauty and hospitality of the host nation. Barbados welcomes you.

  • Barbados!

  • Will be there next january for my honeymoon!

    Really looking forward to it!

  • see how all FUN in LIFE fades out ? Yesterday you were enjoying the trip, today maybe you are sad and tomorrow again who knows... ? I envy you for this trip, though - maybe LIFE is all about THE PRESENT MOMENT - to make it 100% BIG !!!

  • I went to Barbados and I loved it!!!! I want to go back real bad! The beach is beautiful. The people friendly and the food is good. :)

  • t is listed as 37th out of 182 nations in the world. Now that is some achievement.

No country is above reproach in any developmental area, certainly not the USA, but unless you can match it with your stats, maybe you haters should just shut up and get to work on your own country.

  • Lovely video..made me proud to live here...I read some earlier comments blasting us and calling us poverty stricken..SHAME..Barbados is the most developed island in the caribbean, boast of the purest water supply in the world, the best education system in the caribbean and we also have the strongest dollar in the caribbean...it's no paradise..nowhere on earth is...but it's as close as you gonna get :)...c'mon over..we welcome you.

  • @bajanhunk Would u send me some websites of where can i stay in?

  • @bajanhunk Sorry to ask, my friend: I read a comment from a Brazilian traveler who had trouble arriving at the airport in Barbados, came to be deported, a big disappointment. Reported that the police were rude, maybe because he was alone, or because had a earlier passport stamp from Jamaica. Persistently asked him about drugs. What potential problems like this i can have, if resolved to travel with my wife to Barbados. Hugs.

  • @bajanhunk

    See you soon :)

  • @bajanhunk this person ain't lyin i got family down there and when i visit its always great lol. The water at the beach looks so good you'd wanna drink it lol. Like sky blue.

  • @bajanhunk All of this would be true if The Bahamas was not in the caribbean. In standard of living its The Bahamas( 30,500), Barbados(23,300) and Trinidad (21, 300). The Bahamas is more developed, especially in Nassau and Freeport where most of the population lives. The Bahamas has way better beaches, documented and proven highest water clarity in the West Indies( shallow seas visible from space) and they have 700 islands, . Yawl do have the best public education system though.

  • @zidane0196 i have to totally agree here..i salute you Bahamians...lovely place..lovely culture. The Caribbean is so rich and diverse in culture and splendour..it saddens me when ppl speak negatively of us.

  • @bajanhunk truin, it irritates me too, the negative stereotypes concocted by some people.

  • @bajanhunk Bahamian money is worth more too. However, only an ignorant person would say Barbados is poverty stricken.

  • @bajanhunk i agree with u about barbados probably being the best place to live and is as close to paradise that u probably gonna get....but u missed the part of the video that says the reason barbados is paradise is because it is not developed like everywhere else it's still natural..so to say that it is the most developed island is totally wrong cuz everyone knows Trinidad is ...it is the economic powerhouse of the caribbean....

  • @daveisatrini ..ok..there you go ppl...A Bahamian boasting about their island, a jamaican reminding you of it's beauty, myself repping Barbados and now a Trini brother hailing up the economical prowress of T&T..y'all missing out on the rich, diverse beauty of the Caribbean island..so as my trini's say.. 'When ya coming" ?...lol

  • @bajanhunk best educational system in the world.

  • @bajanhunk actually 1 Us dollar is equivalent to 2 barbados dollars, only bahamas and bermuda are on par with the us

  • want to go there so bad!

  • Went there years ago with some friends, beautiful beaches and lovely people.

  • cool

  • Barbados, come here to reenact the Carribean slave trade.

  • i love barbados island

i will come back some day

greetings from Chile , the last place in the world.

  • Dominica is a much better island - its now crowded and still has large rainforests

  • @105km i've been to dominica and it was very boring and the 'town' sucked barbados is wayyyyyyyyy much better

so people go easy on us europeans,we're a lil' bit crazy :P

  • Barbados is blessed with a colourful past and a bright future (thanks to the British) and is a tasteful, beautiful place. Touched by development in and around B Town, it is serene and I would love to visit again.

  • @1221doowesor What do you mean thanks to the Britsh? how about the friendly natives?

  • @1221doowesor The majority of people there are of african descent, not British.

  • this is a wonderful place to visit (barbados)

  • amazing place

  • going there july 5

  • going to barbados next month !!

  • I'm from Barbados and it is a very beautiful place, the coast is unbelievable and the food great, though a bit expensive. if your looking to relax and slow things down. its the place to be. so all you tourist come to Bim :D

  • Im coming to Barbados May 15-27th of this year 10 and it will be my 15th time there. I am a Magician in Calgary Alberta Canada and am wondering if The school system over there would allow me to perform some Magic for the Kids in school does anyone know?? Regards, Vanishing Rabbit Guy

  • tsk tsk, they forgot to mention the rum. lol

  • was in Barbados last year had a great time am repping from St Kitts and Nevis.

  • I have been there several times , love it very nice people but food is expensive. We brought our own frozen meat and had it inspected once we landed. it was easy. Not sure if you can still do that though

  • not every body can be rich only if every body won a lodery

  • I'm definately not rich and never will be, yet I have managed to save the little money I do get paid and have travelled to Barbados twice in the same year from England for holidays! Its not as expensive as you my think.

  • I leave a week from tomorrow!!!! Coming from Atlanta, Georgia

  • I'm going there for my aunt's wedding. I've always wanted to go to the caribbean. FINALLY!!!

  • Damn I want to go! I'm saving up for this shit! Looks like the bomb!

  • Rihanna land is the heaven

  • There is Poverty in Barbados .... be truthful ... Im Bajan

  • Thre is no povery in Barbados. Not everybody can be rich, but they live good and happy. No street people begging for money or anything like that, is clean and employment is growing.

  • Take it you haven't been to Barbados, or if you have you aren't looking properly!

  • Actually, I lived there in 2000-2002. Maybe things have deteriorated a bit... Girlztime, if you're Bajan you should be more proud of your heritage. Barbados has a lot of potential, more than most all islands in the Caribbean.

  • well david99a...barbados isnt poverty striken u wanna see poverty check Somalia, Nigeria, we have some of the best beaches and hotels in the world..so come again..

  • I live there...Yeah for me

  • poverty striken sess pit? yuh tinkin bout somewhere else man, i could count the amount of homeless people in barbados on one hand

  • i'm going this week!

  • That sounded very inviting... im off to barbados next week and cant wait!
