ok can any1 help me out i got a psp go last week i have been unable to get games for the past week because of the bullshit hackers on which made the servers shutdown, so what im getting at is 1,How good is this game and what game could you compare it to. 2,Is there many people online like is it a mmo or does it work the same way as fable 3 co-op. 3, What is the control system like, and finally how much is it to buy on the psn marketplace. if some1 could help me out i would appreciate it alot thx

@joshvang11 You have to have AdHoc Party for the PS3. It can be downloaded off the Playstation Store.

@TeckDuder you don't need to have adhoc party. all you need is download xlink kai. you don't have to buy a wifi max to make it work. you just need to use adhoctousb to make it work like adhoc party. i have adhoc party too. i just trying to help more people to get online without buying anything. i have a video how to help set it up too. contact me if anyone wants to know how to get online.

@jrailman Dude i think it is partly because it would be hard with a Wii remote and Nunchuck to use a lance, bow, bow gun and hunting horn. instead they included the massivly overpowered switch axe :(

The first one is on PS2. The second one is also on PS2, but it was only released in Japan. Trust me, it is worth getting a PSP for this game, it is beyond amazing.

I don't know if something was just lost in translation, but the name Monster Hunter, for me, has acted as a barrier for a couple years now. It sounds really generic and shitty. Heh heh yeah. When I caught a glimpse of the game in GAME one day, the generic and basic name made me back off a little. I'm glad I didn't when my friend bought it. The game is fantastic and is far greater playing with friends.

EVERYONE LISTEN. ...i wasnt a believer when i heard about the japanese monster hunter crazy years ago. those asians are crazy. HOWEVER its addictive as hell, played it on the ps2 and psp and WILL be buying this one. It looks silly and hack n slash however, im tellin ya, stalking a giant dragon around a huge level with all its possibilities and enemies is highly intense. Check it out for sure. Its an incredible game.
